If it helps the weather is no better over here in France. It's not stopped piggin raining since October! There has not been one week without the stuff. If your knee doesn't get any better go to the Docs. Did mine in a few years back and tore the cartiledge in the knee. Upshot I now need a knee replacement. Love your tortoise, bless him.
Caroline, I am laughing at your “tortoise enrichment”, you have given me a whole new view of tortoise life! So sorry to hear about your bad leg, you must have done some serious damage, but perhaps rest is the best thing (but what do I know!). Your lovely new chair will help. Hope you make a good recovery. I remember when my best friend moved actually to your area Kingskerswell .. I cried like a baby. It wasn’t even that we saw each other that often, but I knew I could just pop over or she could come to me whenever we wanted. Fast forward a few years and we still see each other and chat and when we do it’s like we’ve never been apart. Real friendships travel well x

I've had both knees replaced and can sympathize with anyone having leg issues. I've found a wedge pillow while resting and on occasion lymphatic massages helped lots. Do allow yourself grace in healing.. certainly takes time.

Caroline, purchase some pure magnesium salts and dilute a tablespoon in a spray bottle with water. Morning and evening and I’m sure within a fortnight you’ll notice an improvement.. nothing to loose . Certainly has helped me 😉👌

Where i have an ikea bookshelf, a little table for my coffee and a view to the back of my property where I can watch the birds dancing about on the fence. I would love a goodie box of make up and beauty bits, i have had 2 eye ops and haven't been able to apply make up for almost 12 months, it would be a lovely boost to have some new goodies. I always try and walk off any stiffness etc but it's not always the best thing, rest the leg, hope it feels better soon xxx

I lived in Australia most of my life and recliners, mostly called Jason's, are hugely popular. My grandsons in their thirties own them. I love mine and have even slept in it occasionally. Learning about your tortoise is really informative. I have never known anyone who had one. Your caring personality really shows when you talk about your pets. Hope that your knee is getting better Caroline. Love getting news of your tortoise, he’s been with you for a long long time. It’s weird how much rain we’ve had after a very dry summer. I’m trying to collect it to use when we have months of sunshine (we can but hope). My lawn is like a swamp at the mo. Good to have a clothes clear out. I have very few items of clothing because it gets me down if I have too much of anything. I’ve just got rid of ten items and I feel happier. I can buy ten new things now. Wow. Love your new chair. I’ve just had my 65th birthday and treated myself to a recliner G plan sofa, bargain in the sale. So I’ve got my old people’s sofa!
Oh Caroline love your videos, it’s just like having a chat. Your life at the moment is mirroring mine, bad knee and taking paracetamol and ibuprofen, having trouble with internet since February and it’s sooo frustrating, terrible sleeping habits fall asleep no problem then wake up and have a couple of hours of no sleep. The weather is also so miserable and getting probably the whole of the country down. So just a quick mention I would love to receive the glossy box. Take care. Xx

Ashley’s mushroom made me laugh, just how my husband would be. The tour around the garden centre was lovely, I live in Spain and it made me homesick, mind you all the rain made me glad I made the move 😂

What a lovely reading chair! A reading corner would be divine. I put about three pillows on my lap to raise the book when I read, a soft one behind my head to support my neck and use a reading light that clips onto my book. I've had arthroscopic surgery on my knees, cleared out some broken bits of cartiledge and trimmed something or other. It was amazing, still feeling the benefits 23 years later. I wonder if a cortisone shot would help.

I lived in Australia most of my life and recliners, mostly called Jason's, are hugely popular. My grandsons in their thirties own them. I love mine and have even slept in it occasionally. Learning about your tortoise is really informative. I have never known anyone who had one. Your caring personality really shows when you talk about your pets. I feel ur pain there's nothing worse than been in pain I too have problems with my right leg I have to have pain relief on a daily basis.
I did a declutter last week like you there were clothes there I had forgotten about .

Hope that your knee is getting better Caroline. Love getting news of your tortoise, he’s been with you for a long long time. It’s weird how much rain we’ve had after a very dry summer. I’m trying to collect it to use when we have months of sunshine (we can but hope). My lawn is like a swamp at the mo. Good to have a clothes clear out. I have very few items of clothing because it gets me down if I have too much of anything. I’ve just got rid of ten items and I feel happier. I can buy ten new things now. Wow. Love your new chair. I’ve just had my 65th birthday and treated myself to a recliner G plan sofa, bargain in the sale. So I’ve got my old people’s sofa!

Oh Caroline love your videos, it’s just like having a chat. Your life at the moment is mirroring mine, bad knee and taking paracetamol and ibuprofen, having trouble with internet since February and it’s sooo frustrating, terrible sleeping habits fall asleep no problem then wake up and have a couple of hours of no sleep. The weather is also so miserable and getting probably the whole of the country down.

Ashley’s mushroom made me laugh, just how my husband would be. The tour around the garden centre was lovely, I live in Spain and it made me homesick, mind you all the rain made me glad I made the move 😂

Hi Caroline, I do hope your leg is feeling better. Mine was the same, I found some knee strengthening exercises on line and it really has helped but it did take time. What a lovely reading chair! A reading corner would be divine. I put about three pillows on my lap to raise the book when I read, a soft one behind my head to support my neck and use a reading light that clips onto my book. I've had arthroscopic surgery on my knees, cleared out some broken bits of cartiledge and trimmed something or other. It was amazing, still feeling the benefits 23 years later. I wonder if a cortisone shot would help.
