Oh Carla, you had me in hysterics at the “bidding wars” section of this video 🤣. My eBay selling never ceases to amaze me, what shoots out the door at my try it high price, and what hangs around forever because I also can’t be bothered to dig it out and take it to the charity shop (ahem Disney Tigger barrel mug, designer vintage). I appreciate your honesty too x
Interesting to see the duds, I've got that exact voi jumper, had it about 15 years and still one of my favourites, i've got a big pile of Jane Norman dresses in my death pile, been picking them up whenever they're under £1 thinking its a good brand so hopefully i'll have better luck
I wouldn't be able to force myself to list anything below 5.00, with all of ebay's fee's and having to pay for promoted, ebay is taking almost 25 percent of everyone of my sells. I sell on other sites also, and I'm so happy when they do. As much as ebay wants to say there fee's are cheap they aren't the cheapest anymore. When I get older stock that won't sell I go through and change the words around in the title and the photos' sometimes that makes them move, sometimes not. I have a big clear out every fall, however, this is the last time I'm going to do that. Now, every three months if it doesn't sell it's gone, I don't want my house so full of stuff just sitting anymore. I am glad you showed the duds so many people believe that you can just throw stuff on ebay and it sells.
Interesting experiences you have, buying and selling. To a large degree, your business videos like today's are history lessons, culture lessons, opportunities for me to learn more about the UK without traveling from my little apartment in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. I had heard or read of most of the clothing brands you had in this film, but I'd never seen any of the styles. I'm being quite honest when I say I find your buying and selling experiences very interesting. Thanks for the education. I wish for many, many more hundred dollar sales to come your way.
Ive just started selling on Vinted.Sold one thing but the other things are sitting tgere stagnant.I think the way you make a few pound on Vinted is selling in bumdles 🎉
Some really lovely clothes, and good brands, but they may not have sold as a lot of them were very small sizes. I loved the "mother of the bride" dress and coat.
I’ve found small sizes i.e. 8 or below can be really slow sellers. I’ve got a mountain of dead stock, can’t wait for my local car boot to restart next month.
I think some of the problems with the clothing is the small sizes. I hardly ever pick up anything under size 12 unless I think it is v desirable. Also I think skater dresses are long since out. The ones that do best for me are shirred dresses and ones with buttons all the way down the front
It’s a shame that all those good brands didn’t sell well. You’d think people would prefer them to things from shops like Primark. I now normally buy secondhand because the quality and fabrics are so much better.
Hi Carla I do look on EBay from time time for certain finds but it looks like the bottom has dropped out the market .. due to the economy crisis thanks for sharing so interesting x
Hi Carla, it's Wendy from Wales here,I'm new to Ebay selling and have found already that people love Adidas , clothes with tags still on and tracksuits, hope it helps you train yourself into a more methodological way of selling, best Wendy from @Hobnob&slippers

I'm new to eBay but learning about trends is vital for good sales. Some of these clothes were probably out of dates in the 2010s. Good luck this year.
Hi Dan, you might be new to my channel too - I do have good sales :) It's simply that someone specifically asked to see the duds!
Good to see the not so good buys, enjoyed the video@@CarlaJenkins
