  • In the series ‘weaving on a pin loom’ this is the first of 3 video’s that explains how to weave with a continuous strand of yarn, on the bias. In the next 2 (available soon) I will show the next steps. I did this on my selfmade pin loom, of which I made a separate video how to make that, but you can do this on any square loom. In this video I also show some examples that are done with different yarn sizes. No elaborated projects, but just a glance of the weaves you can make, so you can use your own imagination to use it.
I also made a elaborate tutorial on my website, with drawings and pictures, that help you through this process step by step, so also the steps that are not yet available in the video’s. The link to this page: www.thecraftste....
For more information about this loom you can look at my website on this page: www.thecraftste.... Everything is described there in detail. On my website you can also find tutorials on how to weave with step-by-step instructions. Just go the menu Weaving, Pin loom, and choose from the subjects there (work in progress while also working on the video's, so please be patient if it is still a bit empty!)

This is so great. I recently ordered the Martha Stewart DIY Weaver when it was marked down 78%, plus the extender. It's shipping to me now. And I was browsing for ideas of things to practice, learn and make. So glad I found your wonderful video. Thank you for sharing and wish me luck. ;-)
