Would you recommend me a feeder rod for method feeder fishing, I would like to be with medium action.
Mostly it'll be use for dam and lakes fishing.
But as I said I prefer medium to light rods.

great tips jamie can you show how to set up two hook rig please
Thanks John and yes of course mate I've added it to the list of videos to film mate :)
Hi Jamie, quick question, how do you attach your line to a matrix elasticated tube or stem ? Do you use a quick link of some sort or just somehow loop it on. Thanks mate
If you don't want to add a cage coat to your feeder, why not try wrapping it in a PVA coat instead? Find a wide bore PVA sock, tie a knot in the end, drop in the feeder and cut the PVA leaving some excess, BUT leave the line loop free. Tie the open end of the PVA tube with PVA tape. leaving the line loop exposed.. You can then attach the feeder to your rig using the clip-link swivel incorporated in the rig, whether this is a free running rig, helicopter rig, or one using a feeder-link. This works well for when you're wanting to feed live baits like maggots or pinkies in your groundbait. You can "work" 2 or more feeders to make this easier - like clipping on a prepared method feeder after bringing in an empty one.
Oh Steve I've never heard of using that before mate!
@@CatchFishingChannel Sssshhhhh.....I've been keeping it a secret....but I thought you and the other BAGGERS might like it. You are welcome.
Thanks alot for the tips. My nearest Reservoir is like 5m deep and I will try all the tips. Thanks alot. I also bé very thankful for some tips how to try to pick some bigger carp on My feeder because I usually fish 500 - 1000 grams carp and cannot pick like 2 3 kg ones. Sorry for my English. Im from Spain. Thanks and keep doing your great job.
Oh thank you Cyrrus and thank you for watching! Your English is great mate!! What kind of baits are you fishing with?
Corn and 5 7 mm wafters 8mm halibut or krill pellets. This Is What I tried till now.and all fishers that I see they pick same carps maybe too many small carp in the Reservoir but its wild Reservoir not fishery. I really dont know-how to make a selection. Probably going with bigger baits like boilies or something?
@@cyrrusvyrrus9694 Do you fish with bunches of maggots as well mate?
Not really because of the even smaller fish making me crazy. 🥵🥵🥵maybe a longer hooklenght line can work maybe the bigger fish are scared by the so many small fish around the feeder???
great tips for people mate
Thanks for watching Keith mate!
@@CatchFishingChannel always never miss them buddy
thanks pal tight lines (adlington angling centre top shop andy gibbs)
Nice one thanks I've heard that's a great shop mate!
Jamie, I know you’re sponsored by Matrix but no mention of a window feeder?
Yeah we often use window style feeders mate but I like to kick-off with a cage style just to try and get some fish in the peg and then switch if I need to if that makes sense mate?
@@CatchFishingChannel we go mostly for natural waters here and we love deep (4-20m) water fishing for silvers and bream. Most of our matches are in deep waters. so what I do, I take the most open big cage feeder ~60g+gb for a first few casts, then i get semi-closed one, then bell, so I lay my groundbait at all levels and it sinks very slow to bottom. this attracts all fish from long distance, and then you fish with window feeder. closed window feeder is good, but semi-closed better, so that you still leave tray during the match to attract other swims to your peg.
Sorry but cage coats LOL
😄Aka electrical tape
