it's an act. In person he is quite normal. He is just really really shy, for some reason when he has the mask on he feels more free or something. It may do with his personal interests. He just likes being weird when he has his other identity on. He is a really funny guy and loves playing the part as you see on stage. It is all an act. His early mentor, Max McGuire, too was very strange but was a musical genus. It may just be what talent and fame can do to you.

So what if he is autistic? I don't think it makes a difference since he's an amazing artist! If anything, it shows you not to judge people so quickly. He might be autistic and extremely good at guitar, you never know! And if he is autistic, why should we care? Maybe he wrote that song "Too many humans" BECAUSE of people who argue over whether he's autistic or not.
