The ghost hunting career probably is my favourite career. Though I have the exact opposite reaction to the jobs. I like chasing the little guys and the poltergeists, but interacting with the actual ghosts gets lame really fast and I end up vacuuming them anyway. Also the Ghostly Presence hide-and-seek is just so painful when you don't realize a fenced-off garden or a seemingly open kitchen count as separate rooms.
And for anyone considering this career: once you get to level 10 the weekly stipend is practically enough to keep you going and you pretty much don't need to do jobs anymore, which afaik doesn't affect your job performance.
Same. I love a fun career that I don't have to completely micro manage and I think sims 3 does it perfectly (I like to play with families). Telling my sims to go catch lil ghosts and then being able to lock on others and then come back is perfect. The banishing ghosts is just too exhausting

I'm genuinely mad that I got supernatural and it doesn't come with this career 😒 like why TF are there ghosts in supernatural but ghost hunter career came with ambitions?! 😠
Ghosts came with base game and then ambitions made the ghost Hunter career. Later on supernatural just elaborated on ghosts a slight bit. They just did a good job with cross pack playability in ts3
i’ve been playing the sims 3 since 2011 and have never done the ghost hunting career, seems like too much work for a sims game 😭 (edit: love the elbow pads btw ryan)
