Lunan Bay Beach - Montrose - Scotland | 4K | DJI Mini2

Lunan Bay Beach is probably our favourite beach on the eastern coast. It is like the swiss army knife of the beaches - it has it all. Fine, yellowish sand, clear water of the North Sea and amazing dunes - all more or less standard features of any beach, but for Lunan that was not enough. On the north side of the beach there is a cliff face with a small stack and a cave as well as a charming waterfall under the road bridge. On the southern side there is a meandering river and a small hill with a castle (unimaginatively called Red Castle), which overlooks the beach. So there is always lots to do and to explore.
Car park is large, but packed tightly in the summer, so be there early.
