Fishing is good but fuhgedaboudit if ya go on holiday weekends…. on Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day, the river is packed with hundreds of aluminum canoes and thousands of drunk people… wear shoes if you walk around in this river.. it’s basically bedded in broken beer bottle glass
