When I was a boy my parents and I took out camping trailer there many times. Great place to camp. Only place we ever camped. The people camping next to us were always friendly, Park Rangers and other people who worked there were nice. Great place to take children many things for them to do there. If I went camping now that is where I would go.

I appreciate you guys making this video. It is sad for me though. I used to go down there as a kid and it was like a lush jungle with canopy of trees. This footage looks like after Hurricane Michael or after the tornado. All the trees seem stripped.

For some years I was a ACA swift water instructor and White Water instructor. It’s important to remember you are your own rescue squad. While dealing with water and possible drownings there is no time to go for help. YOU are the safety and rescue team. Get some training and prepare. Then you can be aware of the risk your taking and have the skill and knowledge to handle what your getting into. If you don’t….
