Murdock was always my favorit charcater. He is the one who is most human. With all his emotions...
He must protect himself with all his funny sides...

I cannot stress enough how wonderful this video is. How beautifully the heart of Murdock is captured. The torment that rages within him. His love, his anger, his madness, his sanity. His loyalty and honor. The memories that haunt him and the friendship that drives him. An amazing video for an incredible character!!

I believe that you are confusing darkness with seriousness. It seems to me that Murdock never showed a darker side but sometimes he did show his innermost thoughts. And sometimes when something was very important to him he would drop his 'crazy act' to show that what he said needed to be taken seriously.
Very nicely done! Murdock DID have a darker side, which, unfortunately, was kept hidden for the most part in the show... but every so often, you got to see a small piece of that side. You did a great job in bringing that to the surface in this video! Great song! Excellent video!
Your right there were those few time when someone would seriously threaten the team and you could see something inside would just snap. He go into like this state were he was cold and circulated and ruthless. We only saw it twice. But it was really scary to see him like that. My guess is that he developed that in the war as a defense mechanism.
Where Face is seit you can see that dark side....
@@benkenobi834 Which two episodes were those, please? I'm guessing one was from Season 5 (No Reservations or something like that?) but what is the other?
@ThatKliqKid I agree! And when he shot at Stockwell in "Firing Line", there was only the glass to save the general. Murdock does have a dark side. And he could do almost anything to defend his friends... I'd say he is sometimes much darker than the other members of the team.

As much as I love Howlin' Mad, it's really something to see a more serious side of Murdock. I enjoyed this video so much I watched it again right after the first time, then put it on my favorites list.

I know this video was a longer time ago than others, but the comments for your two other intense vids are disabled, the "Court-Martial" one. The dark side, as you say, is just perfectly captured from the very start of the video at 0:11 when the song lyrics say "There's another world inside of me that you may never see" and there's a dissolve synced with the words to the black-and-white Vietnam days. And the focus on the clown with the blinking nose is perfectly symbolic of Murdock's clowning personality hiding what's inside. I must admit to melting a little when you included him giving a pep talk to BA in the boxing ring -- in the context of the vid, with all the intensity, it really seemed like he was filling BA with his own passion, which is stronger, you showed, than any physical strength. I love this vid to pieces.

His saying he was capable of anything to save the team in FIRING LINE is pretty dark, not to mention what he says before that. He has a couple of threats over disparate episodes that are definitely dark. "I will feed your head to flies" said in all seriousness by a soldier is not something to be taken lightly. There's a dark side.

The one where he is wearing the "Everything Must Come To An End" t-shirt is from The Sound Of Thunder (S4), where he gets shot to sacrifice his team is from Curtain Call (S2), the clip where B.A. is in his boxing robe is from Champ! (S3), the clip where he and Frankie come to the stand is from "The Court Martial" three-part series (S5), the clip where he is in goggles in a pedal plane is from Holiday In The Hills (S1).

Murdock is my favourite character... I don't think he's crazy, he's very creative and positive, and this is not, for me, his dark side, these are just a few moments when he lefts his 'madness' away... All of us have two sides (or even more).
The video and the song are perfects! Only one question, what episode is in 3:16, when Murdock shouts to Frank?

Questa volta guardando l'A-Team ho notato l'amicizia tra Murdock e Sberla.Guadavo a Piè e al rapporto con Murdock ma noto che H M è una persona speciale che darebbe la vita per gli amici.Bastibpwnsare ad Hannibal e al sacrificio di mettersi in mezzo allo sparo.Al momento in cui Sberla è colpito nel ristorante. Nlui che non sa cos'è l'odio,strozzerebbe chi ha puntato l'arma contro il suo amico e poi Piè va cui ha donato il proprio sangue con la trasfusione ..la Vita Io amo quest'uomo e amo la loro amicizia

Such a great video, thank You! I watch it on and on...Maybe I would add a littlle scene from 3rd part of "Martial Court", where he hugs B.A and looks really moved, but anyway Your vid is lovely :).
I love Murdock, think he has really good and sensitive heart, that's why he landed in mental hospital after Vietnam (that's only my concept about his story behind the show, because as we can see, he's not totally crazy). He risked without thinking his life to save Hannibal. His friendship with B.A is for me a great blow in racism, 'cause B.A. seems to be most important member of Team to him, his closest friend.
I have a thought that nowadays there's no tv shows like A-Team or MacGyver, which combine entertainment with good values like loyalty and protection of weaker people.
Stargate SG1, the team have a feeling for each other like no other, especial Richard Dean Anderson's character Jack, with Christopher Judge as Tealc

@@Maples01 Yeah, I liked Stargate SG1 too. I really don't understand why in new shows they can never catch that feeling of team loyalty and just upbeat-ness (is that a word?) that the A-Team had. It's like comedy and action have been severed from each other in Hollywood - even when they try (like in those Superhero-movies, which I really basically don't like at all - 1 hour of CGI and 15 minutes of chopped up dialogue) , they never achieve characters as lovable as Murdock. I wrote a show spec script of something very much in the style of the A-Team, sent it to all the major producers in Hollywood. Nobody even read it. I have heard you have to meet the right people at cocaine-parties in the Hollywood hills to get a script read. Well, I'm never going there, so i guess this will not get back in style for a damn long while...
@@jackiedragonfly2461 You know the movie recreated for the series was great too, showing they can make a great team show. When this woke stuff dies out, I hope we can go back to good Television, movies, and music, I sure miss it.
Star Trek ran so long, they were running out of ideas, they went to their fan script file, started using them, the guy who played Barkley in a couple episodes, he wrote several scrips, saw him in Stargate SG1 too, its all who you know in just about everything in life it seems.
