The old statement the astronaut is observed to slow down to a stop and not fall into a black hole misses the fact that he is also observed to extreme red shift beyond visibility as he approaches the boundary. For a stellar mass black hole, he would be observed to wink out of existence in a tiny part of a second. Which would look, unless you had a ridiculously big telescope with a ridiculously fast video camera, indistinguishable from he simply fell in - it is all over so fast.

People forget... When traveling at the speed of light time is only relative. The traveler will experience no time where the observer will experience the traveler with a finite speed, distance and time. Meaning that to the travelers perspective the very moment they chose a destination and turned on the light speed drive they've already arrived at their destination but the viewer will only recognize the time for your light to reach its destination.

Exactly. Can't prove a negative. There's no way to be certain unless we develop a method to examine every star and planet in existence.

Our human brains don't understand what's before and after us. I believe there's an afterlife because we're energy and energy can't be destroyed, only transformed. So, I believe once we leave out bodies, we go on to the afterlife to meet our creator. I look at it as an awakening

I believe in infinity theory outside of the universe is another universe and over and over the endless cycle infinty upon infinity. Its all one big circle many ppl might have a hard time understanding because to us in our physical bodies we preserve times as linear but that's just an illusion its a circle infinity upon infinities. The circle is a universal holy shape no beginning no end just circle vibe, the endless vibes.
