A dart thats been very hard to get hold of for many due to stock shortages, I got my set around Christmas time but they came in generic grey pack that I bought from Total Darts total-darts.co.uk/ and since then the price has also risen by £2. Hello! I was the shop yesterday and I buy that darts set! They' ll have only 23 grams , but i' m think it's worth of that! Scoring well , but doubles have trouble.🤭🤭 That' s a normal!😂😂😂

Another great review. just recently received a set in 23 grams and you’re spot on with your comments, I’m a middle gripper so really like the darts and the slight scallop in the middle.
Thanks Sam, yeah the middle is quite subtle to the eye but feels nice in the fingers if thats your natural grip position :)

Got these in the 25 g weight great set of darts, changed the stems to Vecta blade 6's as i felt the ones that came with them didn't suit my throwing style. Great Channel

Great review pal, i threw these at the rear end of the scallop but i weren’t a fan so i threw from the rear end but a middle gripper would deffo love these!

Have the 23g version. One thing I have been disappointed with is that the red has started to chip off the ringed section in the middle of one of the darts. Great set of darts apart from that.

Got them in 21g and 23g, now playing with the 21g and I love them and I honestly think this will be my match darts. Probably get another set of 21g and flog the 23g. Beautiful dart to throw. Fantastic review Darren 👍🏻🎯

I’m actually more a middle gripper than I thought, thumb and forefinger sit perfectly in the scallop and the middle finger is on the point for balance. You seem to find the same grip every time. Scores have hugely improved since I started playing with these. I’ve also noticed that I’m throwing my other darts better with this finger position 👍🏻🎯

Theyre my main darts and i grip on the rear of the dart
The scallop wasn't just deep enough for me and im now back throwing with my old darts. A great looking dart but I'm now regretting buying them . Great review Darren

@@DartsReviewChannel i was the opposite i could see it and not feel it they just weren't right for me my perfect dart premier mustangs r hard 2 beat for scallop and grip u should review them mate and at £15 they r class not much good for a front gripper tho
@@clint-1725 I could see it but seeing it was very subtle, it felt more pronounced to me than what I was expecting, guess it also depends on each persons sensitivity of touch too :) Yeah I know of the Mustangs, doubt they would suit me though :)
Another great review though this is a year ago. Always looking for the cheapest of these or second hand darts to try cause of having difficulty where to grip on straight barrel. Hopefully the scallop will help. Hard to find here in my country. Hopefully this year will have a hand on these.

Joe is having massive success and is playing very well with this set. Boost of confidence, natural progression, or does the dart truly help him?
Probably a bit of everything. Joe is a hard-working player and we were seeing some results with even his old unicorn darts like the international darts open last year, but he definitely seems more comfortable with his new darts.
Probably a combo of a few things really :)

Can I buy these and switch the stems to short ones without making them fly differently? Buying my first expensive set and I prefer shorter darts but I really like these ones
you can use any stems and flights you want but they may have some affect on how the darts fly, could fly better or worse, it will all depend on what works best with your throw and you wont know until you try it :)

Just ordered these this afternoon, after swearing I wouldn't be buying anymore darts 😂Looking forward to throwing them as a middle gripper myself,although I will probably be stripping the red.
Darts designed for middle gripper,but you'll never know you might able to adjust for your throwing reference.
Nice looking darts , to me as mid to rear gripper these can works nice but there should be made one change on barrels , they should be complete in green 🎯

Winmau apparently massively underestimated demand for the darts, hence the black box. Not sure if it was just the cullens or if any other winmau sets were affected
Yeah I guess they did as the stock was gone really quick and no where near enough to meet demand :)

It is actually a bit paradoxical that what is otherwise true does not seem to apply to darts: Anyone who has ever tried to read Braille script with normal sight will come to the conclusion that the eye is more accurate than the inexperienced fingertips. With darts, however, scalloped grips can be felt much better than they can be seen - that is also the reason why some manufacturers exaggerate these parts in the illustrations of their darts.
I guess it also depends how sensitive the touch is of the individual :)

All these fancy grips on darts are there for cosmetic reasons to sell them

IMO...Winmau Prism shafts are the absolute worst quality shafts from a major brand. They crack every Robin Hood.
Not sure if I have used a set long enough to be sure but they do seem to be that kind of material that can break easy. The longest lasting set of nylon stems I had though were the ones I got with the first version of the Winmau Paul Nicholson darts, no idea why but they lasted ages and it was only the thread on one that eventually wore off that made me change them lol :)
Best stems out there are the Harrows Ignite
@@DartsReviewChannel I have used Winmau Prism stems on other darts, and they are very brittle. I now put Shot Tao carbon stems on all my darts. They have been pretty much indestructible so far.
I'm a huge fan of the Shot Tao's, I've yet to break one and have had them well over a year and a half... If you like carbon, definitely give them a chance.
