This is some interesting action with the ArcelorMittal GP15-1s at CP 502. Thank you for capturing these engines and for sharing the video with us, Sam!
I remember being here twice on the pedestrian bridge to mainly watch any trains that were going by including some Amtrak trains that I showed that spot to my mom because she wasn’t there. We were on the Wolverine together on a round trip from Chicago to Detroit.

Wouldn't be a proper steel mill without trains belching blue smoke! :-)
Thankyou for going back Chicago

I worked for Amtrak (few years ) and at steel mill over 30 years s few months at the track department. I made a living.
@@danielmota1095 That’s very awesome
I worked in that mill for 3 months as a contractor. It was fascinating.
Was ArcelorMittal. Now owned by Cleveland Cliffs.
Both engines retired, shipped to Longview, TX as rebuild cores for Railserve.
One of my favorite railfan spots. Hope that it doesn't change much now that Cleveland Cliffs owns them.
2:43 Smokin!
COAL FOR THE COKE DEPARTMENT!!
Any chance you can go live one day here, Sam?
