Daniel, try some peppermint flavoring or peppermint oil to reduce your rodent problem. They hate the smell of it. I’ve used it several years now and it works. Enjoy your videos!
Good morning Daniel and granny. I would agree with the peppermint oil to keep the rodents away I have used the same thing around for several years here in Texas it seems to work. Might be worth a try for you guys over there?
Daniel, you might want to check this out it’s my understanding that at one time they were using corn based plastic coating on the wires I know in vehicles and I think as well as Farm Equipment do you know to try and use the corn base plastics? The problem is is rodents love it .
Daniel, that rat must still be in your combine!!! 😂😂😂 all joking aside. Another awesome video, loving the way you're switching things up! That drone footage was great and you are a great operator. Say hello to Granny for me...
Is Milo the same as sorghum. I don't live to far away from y'all and my sorghum got almost 7 feet tall. I made syrup and plenty of the tops to feed my chickens.
35 miles from last wire eating job doesn't seem possible I woul bet they are riding around somewhere in that combine .I would put some rat D Con on those wires or that area for winter storage.
Are there just more rats in milo fields than other grains. Do you store your milo in the seed house or are you hauling it directly to the end user? By the way what are the end users for milo in Alabama?
Could be some of that Soy based wire isulation that the mice are eating through. Rodents find it to be very tasty, several years back some auto manufacturers switched from petrolium based wire insulation to soy based insulation, rodents destroyed the wiring in those cars so much that there were many class action lawsuits over it.
Daniel, That shot of turtle nests (@9:41) is most impressive! Thanks for capturing the view for us ("specially since I'll probably never be able to fly....) to enjoy. Show that image to the nay-sayers who claim your agriculture is ruining everything. And remember, this pond is "downhill" from EVERYwhere on the acreage. Great drone shots. Better get that sidewall properly patched, or you'll be "out there" and "all alone." (but then, you KNEW that plug wasn't gonna work in the sidewall when you put it in, didn't you?) Always enjoy your content. We're at about your same latitude here in the Fl. "panhandle" but I don't think we have that many turtles over here. But we do have (protected) "gopher tortises" ....dang things...ya can't farm over 'em. Keep the good, high production value videos comin' ....I've been watching your videos since even before you started flying drones into trees.... (your camera work has also improved over time...)
And the mention of the pond being (naturally) "down hill" from everything was intended to illustrate that if'n' anything "terrible-bad" was happenin' on that land, it would "show up" there! The turtles, at least don't seem to "mind." (don't know about any fish in the water tho, might not be so peachy for them.)
Outstanding camera work Daniel. Thanks so much. Love, absolutely love the wildlife. You do what you do with such presence. Good on you. I bet your Dad sleeps well at night knowing he's lucky to have you and your passion for your work. Thanks again from New Zealand.
Hey sounds like the rain we had here 6" inces in 4 days. We had in a place called Johnsonville East Gippsland Victoria Australia 🇦🇺 Happy days Danial great videos thankyou
Do you think they are living in the combine, the rats . Seems odd , but ???? Have a great week Daniel Hope you didn't get all that rain Stay safe and warm !!!
Hello Granny and Triple R Farms another awesome video and Daniel get you a bucket of Tomcat rodent blocks and throw them around and on your combine it'll get them rats and mouse gone
Daniel, you do a great job of filming content and editing. I can’t believe you only have 29k followers. Keep doing what you’re doing and say hi to Granny.
What is the difference between the tires you were swapping out on your "Rogator"? Thanks for the videos. I am originally from "LA" (Lower Alabama, Evergreen, Monroeville area.)
Did the feral hogs damage the Milo? We grew some forage sorghum next to our woods to minimize deer damage. They didn't eat much, but they would run through it to brush the flies off them.
I am no electrician but the best thing I have found for in the field wiring are crimpless connectors and water proof heat shrink connectors with solder. Two multi size sets of those, a butane lighter, and a good wiring tool/pliers will fix most equipment electrical wire breaks.
I'm surprised somebody hasn't come up with some kind of coating or spray or something to dissuade those rodents from chewing on wires. I've heard peppermint but don't take it from me I don't know nothing. Cool video as usual Daniel keep up the great work!
Hello and thanks for watching.
I’m thinking the rodents have made there new residence your combine, you need to evict them before replacing wiring looms. Good luck Daniel 👍
Hi granny Daniel dad and rest of crew awesome video and as always you all be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
rats are living on your combine....set up a bucket trap on the back engine compartment ...or...glue traps with peanut butter..
I'd say the same, but would add a little clove oil to the peppermint, it also will keep dogs away from spots.
Hey what will keep cats away
No laughing at the wiring just the cold comments.🤣🤣
Another good one Daniel 🌽 🚜 🇺🇲 👍
Big LL Bean boot fan for 50 years. My grandfather wore them hunting in the 20's
Good morning Granny fantastic Drone footage
You do what is best at the time and go on! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Duct tape..... The handyman's secret weapon.
I'm thinking too they are living in the combine, boy they are hungry and destructive, great video especially drone, be careful and warm 👍
Those mice have made a nest in the combine are just riding around with you.
Another great video. I think rats have a communication network!!
Another great video! Congrats on Bama making the football playoffs. We had 9" of rain Sunday in Tallahassee. Take care...
Seriously, congratulations on Alabama making the playoffs and here FSU is 13-0 and no playoffs.
@@tommythompson3588cry more, it may help😂

Color blind guy messin' with wires.. what possibly could go wrong?
Good morning Granny, Dan, Daniel and all of Triple R Farms may God bless you all
Thank you.

Hello 😊
What worked for me was Honda's rodent tape. Part # 4019-2317. One and done. Still working on my combine 7 years later.
Try putting some moth balls down in the area tie the moth balls to the wire. I heard mice don’t like moth balls, you wirelike I do.
Is Milo the same as sorghum. I don't live to far away from y'all and my sorghum got almost 7 feet tall. I made syrup and plenty of the tops to feed my chickens.
FYI,,,INVEST IN SOME DECON STICKY RAT TRAPS & LEAVE SOME IN THE COMBINE.
35 miles from last wire eating job doesn't seem possible I woul bet they are riding around somewhere in that combine .I would put some rat D Con on those wires or that area for winter storage.
moth balls took care of my uncles rat problem. They destroyed a John Deere. Put a bag down there and leave it

Dekalb great number one crop in milo in Nebraska
Daniel oil will walk up the dip stick always good practice wipe the dip & ck oil . Good video yal stay safe !
Oi ❤❤❤👍👍👍

Now I'm fixin' ta be REALLY embarassed if those are blue-gill (or another panfish's) nests. How 'bout a clarification, please.
And if those are FISH "nests" then it really WAS a long, hot, dry Summer....!
New video on my birthday? Yessirr 💯
You need some heat shrink butt splices for wires like that! I’ve never grown Milo don’t know anything about it!
Howdy triple R farms
Thx for making the video.
Good morning Granny! I hope they get the 2023 crop finished up!
Good afternoon.
That rat is living in the combine

When we put our combines up we would put mouth balls all over the machine
Hey good job forget the comments. Fix all that in the winter.
I believe I would invest in some mouse 🐁 traps 😅
Hey sounds like the rain we had here 6" inces in 4 days. We had in a place called Johnsonville East Gippsland Victoria Australia 🇦🇺

Thanks for watching.
When are we gonna see Lucy again?
Good morning from Mississippi
Nothing wrong with Duct Tape (Alabama Chrome) on wiring! Sometime you use what you have to get it going.
Good morning Granny. Have a great day
Thanks!!
throw some mothball juice in there keep them out
Morning Granny! Good video.
Daniel, you do a great job of filming content and editing. I can’t believe you only have 29k followers. Keep doing what you’re doing and say hi to Granny.

Merry Christmas to all the families members, and employees of triple R farms. Enjoyed all the videos this year. Thanks!

Good job guys
