I'm not a Lions fan but it's hard not to root for Detroit and Dan Campbell
As a lifelong fan, this is probably the first coach I’ve seen a team actually like and play harder for. Huge season for a young team with glaring issues.
Lions season/performance was far greater than the record indicates . They get screwed by the refs , while gb gets unlimited holding allowance to promote the overrated/overpaid qb -ex packer fan
We are all Lions fans !! Unlike other loser organizations we have never been douches always just need culture change and MCDC did that

Lions are definetely going to win 10+ games next year. They finally got the right culture in Detriot. Especially after winner against GB last week of the season, they are building momentum towards next year. If they can hit in the draft they are going to be scary

Born and raised in Michigan and always wanted to see the lions finally do something great. After years of being disappointed I quit paying attention to the same ol’ lions. BUT after watching the second half of these season and especially the last game against the packers it’s evident that this team has the grit to overcome their reputation. I can honestly say I’m looking forward to next season for the first time.

With the Vikings in the same division, it’ll be tough but not impossible for them. Depends on how the draft goes for them and the packers too. But I hope so also. Would be good to see the Lions in the playoffs.

I still think it'll be between the Vikings and Lions next year, but I think Minn wins 10 games and the Lions win 12

Looks the Lions are the new America's team by the comments, as a long time Lions fan I'm happy to see them get so much love. There is something special going on in Detroit and America is taking notice. Us Lions fans cannot wait till next season, we have been waiting for our time to come. Dan is great and Brad Holmes, Ben Johnson, and Arron Glen are doing this thing right. Also want to give a shout out to Sheila Hamp, the owner, it all starts at the top with her, she's making us all believers and deserves so much credit. Ford's have had a lot of criticism over the years fairly but she's changing all that. We love Sheila Hamp!!!
Their D was so much better in the 2nd half of the year. It took them a year+ to get the offense rolling, and they've always finished the year strong. Next year I wouldn't be surprised if their D starts clicking and becomes a force near the end of the year. They could genuinely go on a run, with both sides clicking. Hopefully their offense doesn't lose a step with or without Ben Johnson. As a Pats fan, I am now a Dan Campbell fan, and I was rooting for you ever since Matt Patricia left (sorry Detroit, we also fell victim to his coaching).

Players and Coaches all wanna stay with the Lions. What a great time for Lions fans. I was born and raised north of Detroit Michigan and love all my homestate teams but after the start the lions had with those injures I thought the season was done after 7 games and was prepared to get another high draft pick. But the coaches got the young guys to play awesome and have something to build off of.. sure glad the highest paid offense in the league showed how good they can be. Weren't even at full strength either swift wasn't 100 percent after game 2 had a high ankle sprain and a separated shoulder. And our new weapon Jameson Williams only played a few snaps all year 2 of which were touchdowns even though 1 was called back. Add a few more young guys with the draft even if this upcoming draft is half as good as last years we will still be better next season

GM Brad Holmes and his staff, HC Dan Campbell and his staff have completely changed the whole culture and damn near the whole roster in 2 years. As Coach Campbell said on this show, The Lions have also found their franchise QB in Jared Goff who has regained his confidence and poise which led to a tremendous season. The Lions will make the playoffs next season.

Unfortunately, it's probably Daboll. COTY normally goes to the coach who did the most with the least. Giants and Lions rosters are somewhat similar in talent level this year, Daboll got his team to the playoffs and won the Wild Card game as of now.

I've never watched the Mannings watching MNF until this, great stuff.
The Lions had such a crazy season. You have to realize, that they lost to the Eagles by only 3 points, to the Vikings by 4, to Seattle by 3, Miami by 4, and Buffalo by 3. ALL OF THOSE TEAMS MADE THE PLAYOFFS. The Lions are MUCH better than their record suggests. They should be a playoff team, but the record just wasn't there. Everyone knows that the Lions deserved to be in the playoff more than Tampa Bay or Seattle did. The Lions are going to make the playoffs next year, and then some. They already have a #1 offense, and they have two round 1 draft picks, and their defense will only improve. Dan Campbell is so far a great coach. It isn't just about calling plays, it is inspiring your players!! As a long time suffering Lions fan, it is good to see the horizon just around the corner. I am positive they will have a huge season next year.

Nobody will admit it. Houston is better than Hutchinson. Houston is quicker than Micha Parsons. Houston didn't even play 70 snaps. If he had played day one, he probably ends up with 20+ sacks. The stupid Lions actually cut him. Thank God Nobody signed him, off the practice squad.
@@stephensdygert7600they’re both good but Hutchinson is the more well rounded player overall. He’s a complete package in the run game and the pass game while Houston is a freak athlete with a high ceiling but he’s smaller and less of an impact in the run game. It’s why Hutchinson is used on all 4 downs while Houston is used in more obvious passing situations.

The 49ers would have probably killed us, but seeing the Giants and Jags win a playoff game hurts a little because I think the Lions are quite a bit better than both. It’s their own fault, but I’m willing to give them a youth mulligan for the awful way they started the season. The future hasn’t looked this bright in a long time. Even when Stafford and Calvin were at their peak, the front office was still subpar. But now, we have a GM that makes great move after great move. I wasn’t a Campbell guy, but I’m all in with him now.
