I've recently hit a relapse of depression and anxiety that triggered an onset of pure O that almost convinced me that the only way to seek relief from it was to end my life. I'm seeking help from a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals and keeping my faith in God, but I won't deny that each day is a battle in which I try to ensure the bad doesn't overpower the good. Can you please do a video about facing spiritual warfare. Our church had a very big moment after coming back from church camp. It was actually my brother that was a victim of spiritual warfare. Some of my youth members are still shook from the experience and it would be really interesting to hear you point of view about it or how we can face it
This weekend I have to go away on a leadership retreat and I have separation anxiety and right before I was about to pray from my anxiety to go away I refreshed my UA-cam subscriptions and things popped up. I just want to thank you for making my perspective of fear wider then before.

A very important vers for me when I fear is: „Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in you“ - psalm 56,3 and when I notice that I face fear I say: I will not fear I trust you because I know that you are good and do only the best for me.There’s no reason to fear. But important is the vers and also the whole psalm. All glory to our mighty and wonderful god who is so good in every way !❤️😍🌅

this summer on my trip was the first time i was not afraid of heights! 'normaly' i could not even stand on a chair. but this summer all of the sudden nothing... as i walked trough some heigh places near clifs. i just wasn't afraigh. i felt peace, rest and joy. now back home, sometimes i'm a litle shaky... but i remind myself of the times i stood on those mountains. and i know i don't have to be afraigh anymore, i just try and the dizzienes is gone, and my stomic don't make me believe anymore i'm at a stormy sea. to God is all the glory! #imnolongerafraightofheights :-) bless you Jon & SweetBear! greatings from the netherlands. keep being asome! I never realized that I had a fear of getting hurt emotionally until recently. I didn't date throughout high school, and as a freshman in college, I'm currently in my first relationship. I've noticed that I put my guard up so easily when it comes to trusting people, and that's hindered our relationship from really growing because I'm afraid of getting hurt. I struggle with this daily. But thank you Jon for this video, I'm excited to see the rest of the series! I'm looking forward to seeing what else God has you to say! :)

Today I have to speak in my literature class about a poem that reminds me of a verse in 1 Corinthians and I'm scared. I've just changed school and in my are Christianity is considered obsolete. I'm afraid that by making a correlation with the bible I might get bullied or something ( I've always been scared of speaking in front of crowds or evangelising ) but I've watched two of your videos this morning and it seems like God is calling me to do what I'm specifically afraid of. Hello! I wanna admit something. I feel fear about getting possessed by any spirit. I know I haven't been the coolest christian, and I haven't done anything so bad or nasty (at least not for me) but, to be honest, I feel sometimes that something is touching my neck. And to be honest, I gotta admit that I'm a paranoid person. And it seems like sometimes I'm imagining that. But, at this moment, it's 12AM, I was sleeping in my bed and I had to open my eyes because I felt like something was taking my neck. I am praying, but, I tray not to pay it much attention. But, then I forget about it, and I feel nothing, but later it comes again. So, am I crazy?! Should I visit a psychology?! I want you guys to pray for me, and for my strength, because this is scaring me too much. Sometimes, I just feel like I'll loose control. If anyone there is reading this, please pray for me, 'cuz I feel I need it.

I spoke to a mentor about it and she said it was a spiritual attack, 100%, and that her mother had experiences like that sometimes she gave me some advice that I'll share with you! You're not going crazy. But here's the good news: even the enemy has to bow to Jesus. I've been trying to develop a habit of saying the lord's prayer when that feeling comes along. At the name of our God, the enemy runs away! WHen you feel scared and feel fear setting in? Call out to God. Speak his name aloud. Pray as Jesus prayed and tell the enemy to leave! He has no authority in your life. Fear, has no power over love. Darkness has no power over light. You are a child of GOD! Loved by the most high. His spirit lives within you. Ask the holy spirit to pray for you, we are told it does this! Trust in the lord with all your heart, and depend not on your own understanding. Much love! xo

this is kind of hard to tell because it's the truth. I am selfish in my home and in school. I always wanna be the middle of the spotlight or the one that grabs everybody's attention and if I see someone taking away my spotlight I'll feel mad. Dont get me wrong I am not a loud person as a matter of fact I am one of those quiet people. The thing is I have high pride and ego, I always wanna be on top and afraid that I'll get replaced. In our house in my mom's eyes Im this perfect daughter but if you ask my sister she might not think of me as a good sister. When Im jealous of her I would be instantly mad at her I dont want her to better than me just like in school I dont want my classmates to be better than me. I fear that if they are better than me that leaves me to nothing. Im afraid that no one would pay attention to me if Im no longer the best in the class. I know it is such a selfish fear and I know it's not the kind of attitude that everyone must have. I for myself no that it is bad because I can also see it in my eyes that Im hurting the ones I loved. It's really confusing for me I try to fighy it but in the end of the day I am overwhelmed of fear. I let fear control every single piece of me. I try a lot of things to breal away from this fear I listen to sermons about fear, I pray but it seems like nothing's working it still there haunting me.
Some people have that kind of issues but nobody can replace you no matter what you are special to them and think about it do you wish to change if yes than instead of always just praying to God you must change in a small way everyday too remember "God helps those who help themselves"

ive been into freerunning and acrobatics for a while, and i just got a job at a trampoline park called District 5! I love to learn new things there new tricks, and i find myself not learning the ones i want to learn the most because I;m afraid obviously. does anyone know exactly how to get over that kind of fear, i know i can do it because a lot of people can, i just have doubt.
For the past few months I've been wanting to go to church but my mom keeps saying no (I'm from a family of atheists). I'm scared to ask her again because she's already done so much for me and I don't want to bug her, also because I've been the oddball of my family since I was born so all my life I've been trying to get her and the rest of my family to accept me but the problem is I'm scared that she will shun me if I ask and or go to church and pursue in my path with God. My friend said that I could go to church with her but I need my mother's permission to do so. Please tell me what to do, I'm sorry if I am bothering you with this but I'm at a loss. Please help me!
It's not your mom's decision whether you can go to church or not,you can pray to God for a change in your mom's life, you can always read the Bible ask your friend about church and what she learnt and also you can always join a fellowship its not going to church right?But just pray to God and all will be well

I'm scared to ask her again because she's already done so much for me and I don't want to bug her, also because I've been the oddball of my family since I was born so all my life I've been trying to get her and the rest of my family to accept me but the problem is I'm scared that she will shun me if I ask and or go to church and pursue in my path with God. My friend said that I could go to church with her but I need my mother's permission to do so. Please tell me what to do, I'm sorry if I am bothering you with this but I'm at a loss. Please help me!
It's not your mom's decision whether you can go to church or not,you can pray to God for a change in your mom's life, you can always read the Bible ask your friend about church and what she learnt and also you can always join a fellowship its not going to church right?But just pray to God and all will be well
