Nice! I've always thought this jacket looked killer but there's so little info out there outside of the product and model shots. Looking forward to watching the video and seeing it on you.
I’m so excited for this jacket to come. I ordered mine last night! The weather is still iffy up here in the Midwest so I look forward to getting good wear out of it
Im 6'1 195lbs. Lean and muscular, not bulky. I have a long torso and my jacket cuts off right at the hips about where my belt rests. The arm and torso length is perfect for me, the only thing id say is that it fits very snugly around my shoulders so reaching across my body to grab the seatbelt is a struggle but manageable and solved by just using my other arm. I imagine this issue will resolve itself in time as the leather breaks in and stretches out to accommodate my range of motion as i wear it more. I bought a medium and dont regret it at all, i agonized over getting a large or medium but am glad i got the medium, its snug and fits just right, any tight spots will resolve themselves in due time through wear
Great video on the jacket man, this is my holy grail article of clothing. Love to see someone else with this piece, I feel like it is a "if you know you know" piece. I wrote an article on this jacket that was published on Stridewise where I got into detail about all the aspects of the jacket, if you have any questions feel free to reach out.
yeah the first thing I noticed was it looks big on you. as long as you stick with the straight fit jeans it wont look out of place and you're free to layer more under it.
I also own thus jacket, while it is a bit stiff out the box. The thing is IMMENSELY comfortable. Its a heavier leather jacket but I will wear it all day in the fall and forget I have it on from how comfortable it is.
Definitely man! Depending on what your budget is, there are plenty of options. If you're willing to spend a bit more money than this jacket, say the 800-1000 dollar range, I'd look at Schott NYC. Their Perfecto motorcycle jacket is a classic if you have the confidence to pull it off, I have a video on it if you're interested. They also have other trucker style leather jackets similar to this. If you got money to burn, perhaps Iron Heart or Real Mcoys. If you're not a huge leather guy or want to stick to a sub 400 dollar range, I'd look into more waxed canvas. Equally tough and badass and also able to patina like crazy. Filson's short lined tin cloth for a boxier and more utilitarian style for 350, Bradley Mountain's Cabin Jacket for about 395, goes down to about the pant's fly area. Let me know if you have any other questions! Consider liking and subscribing, I'd appreciate the support :)
I would say that it conforms to your body more than it will stretch. Some parts will stretch a bit, such as the elbow area, but mostly it will conform rather than stretch.

Awesome video!! Keep up the great work!
Best review coverage I have seen of this jacket. You go through all the important notes about sizing etc; well done.

I agree :)
Did the jacket come with a dust cover?
Is it available in other finishes? I feel like my boyfriend would look really good in it
What's the chest and body length demotions on your jacket?
how long does it take to break it in? I prefer a softer comfy feel....

Does it have night weight to it?
What wool coat is that you're wearing in the intro, too??
It's from Rodd and Gunn, I will probably save it for a review next fall. :)
Do more Schott jackets
I would but they're expensive man 😭😭
Hey man great video. Do you have any other jacket recommendations? I'm the same height and it's always a struggle finding jackets that aren't too long

Doesn't leather stretch over time?

Good point, I agree.
