Drop the poundage and get used to perfect execution of shot from draw to release. You can build back up as the season progresses. I know this from personal experience tearing my bicep tendon at the shoulder.
I thought about that too. I can drop it to 40 or 50 for sure.. Another comment said a shot train get which is a good idea too!. Ah dang thats not a fun recovery. Hope all is well now!
I tore my posterior labrum this year drawing back in the cold after sitting in a saddle for 10 hours (not fun). I have still been able to shot my bow, but have had to make sure to draw with pretty much all trap and back muscles. You might try that, get that elbow pointed upward more, instead of sideways as that puts a ton of stress on the labrum. With the elbow straight up, raise the front arm and then force that trap to pull the string back. I don't have things all figured out, just know I had to work around that same issue and saw you pulling more shoulder than trap.
Dang sorry to hear that! 100% actually the guy at our shop was telling me to get my elbow up more too so I have been focusing on that too. I’ll try it on the pull too. Thanks for the info!
@@OneThousandHobbies - Glad to give some input that helped me, hope it is helpful for you as well. Christ Bee has a fantastic explanation in his video -"3 COMMON ARCHERY MISTAKES" - that will likely show it better than I explained it. Good luck and hope you heal up fast.
GREAT SHOTS! Also these bows have so much in it they look so heavy but when you hold it they look so light since you can lift it up for a long time without getting your arm tired I wonder how these materials are made.
Tore my labrum last winter and dealt with it for 5-6 months before I got stem cells at ways to well in Houston, was back to 100% in about 4 months and hasn’t given me any issues since
Ditch the trigger release, get a Carter Evolution or similar resistance release. The amount of time your thumb is on barrel tells me you are commanding the shot. The angle of your draw arm, and the tipping of your head seems like draw length might be a little short. Good luck with rehab.
Sorry to hear your shoulder is injured brother. Dont forget with the bow you have, you could easily order a set of mods backing that weight down to 50-55 pounds, working on form does not matter how much weight your pulling, might be easier on your shoulder so you dont keep it flared up. Just a thought. I have some 55 pound ones I am currently suing just for form since hunting season is over. Keep up the fun videos, get well soon brother. dale
Thanks man, I appreciate the advice! I can also mod my new one down too but that’s a little bit of a pain. I thought about using the other too! We’ll see! Thanks for the support 🤙🏼
Your still punching the trigger bro. Like the other guy stated use shot trainer. Work on your release. Joel Turner Shot IQ and you have a nock on hat he has great videos of the shot process.
Watching him drawl the bow back told me everything I was needing to known
Draw...

I use to remove my sight so i didn't even think about aiming at all, so u could try that to get rid of the trigger punching

isn't that sight already bridgelock compatible?
The newer ones are this one is older and a little too thick. People do grind it to fit though

No way!! I wish I lived closer to ways to well!!
Those bows have a horrible draw cycle I'm not surprised 😂

I’ve seen those but never used! Thanks I’ll look into it! We did finally adjust my draw 27” instead of 26! 🤙🏼 thank you!

Yo dude, that black gold sight is Bridge loc just put it in the bow ... and then that tight spot quiver will sit super close to that riser
This black and gold is an older version where it doesn’t fit in the slot 😖 some people shave it down to fit I may do that. We’ll see!
@OneThousandHobbies you can order jus the bar and bolts right up l
Killer stuff bro keep hammering. archrey is a dope hobbie. Get into traditional archrey to or making bows i also have a thousand hobbies
No, thank YOU for making videos even throughout injuries rehab.

Try a shot trainer. Then you’re not drawing the bow and injuring your shoulder and you can practice as much on your shot as you want.
I know Dudley has one I should get that!
