How did I miss these videos for so long? Your reviews are the best as you describe each pomade so well and how it affects your hair. You also have outstanding hair for doing these reviews, great thickness and texture. The shine in your hair is superb! Your length in this video is the best and shows the ducktail so well. I would enjoy exploring more about your hair care, such as how you prepare your hair before you slather in the pomade, and how you remove the build up, or how you make the build up work for you. What kind of shampoo or conditioner do you use as you remove the pomade? Perhaps a video of that process? Your videos make me wish i still had my hair because it would be so fun to play and style and have such a great look!

I'm pretty surprised by your review, the first few details that is. I find it pretty easy if you compare it to High Life or something similar. I use very little and warm it up a lot. Combs nice and easy.

I thought lights looked best on ya, but it looks like you're able to get an awesome looking pomp with heavies as well. What would you say are the pros/cons of lights vs heavies for your hair?

I Like heavies that they generally let me get a higher pomp with more control over my cowlick and with lights I like that the build up is 99 percent of the time "light feeling" and that works good with my thick hair I can get real good round shape with lights so easy and they style easier for my hair. cons of heavy pomades they tend to be hard for my hair to work with styling wise it takes longer and cause my hair is so thick is a nightmare usually to apply it. lights the cons would be my cowlick acts up a lot they make my hair curl when I don't want it to and splits are more likely to happen for me although recombing takes care of it it's just a little annoying.

Made for men and women that have course hair (like wool).
Thanks to you, I will never put that in my hair. 👍🏻

Nice head of hair brother! That’s the way a pomp should look! Have you tried the SGB Red?

If you think this pomade is tough to apply, wait until you try dax wave and groom, I have never seen a pomade so thick like dax wave and groom, it hurts like hell to apply, but it's the only pomade that I can do a nice pompadour on my wavy and thick hair.

Say, man? If you want an alternative with the same amount of shine and hold then look into Lucky Tiger Cru-Butch. Application for that is not hard or tough.

on the sweet georgia brown website red is advertised as the original, having a medium to strong hold and the blue is the super strong hold is how I think they worded it.

oh my...this is the worst pomade i ever had - or have - because - the scent is awesome - but - the red sgb is just too greasy - the blue one too gummy...
but - after a day using murray or dax red - it works nice as a topper and gives a great shine plus great hold
