I’m a white Brit. We get very annoyed about the way our media and politics want to talk about these cases. We know this is not really an issue in the British ‘Asian’ community as our politicians and media call it. We know it is not the Hindu or Sikh communities and certainly not the Chinese or Vietnamese. It’s a Pakistani Muslim problem. While some non Pakistani Muslims were involved, they were a minority. The evidence presented in court is clear. While just a few hundred men ‘pimped’ these girls, thousands, potentially tens of thousands of Pakistani men in the UK took part in the abuse.
