    I think we should rediscover our backbone. That would be a good start.

    At the end of the day, US consumers will bear the costs as US importers pass on tariff costs. This is what history has repeatedly proved.

    Even if the prices of Chinese goods rise by 100%, its still cheaper than made in America. That's why it will backfire.

    From the Americans prospective these tariffs are a disaster they will drive up inflation in the U.S. may bring about a recession, worse they damage trade relations with no real benefit to the U.S., and it give a major opening to the Chinese if they are smart enough to use it.

      You obviously don't live here in the States and cannot differentiate between inflation and a tariff. Inflation is caused by the federal government printing money as was the case with the last clown administration. Tariffs only raise the price of selected items targeted. Canada's exports to us is 38% of their entire GDP and only 2.5% for us. Who wins... That is why they could only pull alcohol from their shelves not big ticket items. Panama have exited the belt and road initiative completely and Mexico folded in 5 mins. 90% of all our avocados are actually produced in CA and again they have no leverage.

      From a left wing propaganda filled American perspective perhaps.
      But from an actual American perspective, we know prices may rise short term, but we also know this has to happen, because our country is dying.
      Morons who live in cities and wealthy areas don't understand how bad the countries economic health has gotten.
      This is a necessary thing if we intend to have a country for future generations.
      As for China, if this drags on long enough for the US to move our industry, they will be destroyed economically

      @@mikecohen2400 You couldn't articulate with regards to my response. If prices were to go up why did Mexico and Canada cave. Simple they have no leverage and 38% to our 2.5% with a huge trade deficit and our engine means only one winner. We fund them to the tune of $200B per annum. If we cut that off they're finished with that one thing alone. That is why we got rid of their leader for them and once they fall into a great depression the opposition will be 60 pts up. They are already leading by 20.

      Yeah, it’s causing serious disruptions. Supply chains are getting squeezed, and inflation’s creeping up because of higher import costs. But honestly, it’s creating opportunities too, if you know where to look.

      That's when things took a turn for the better. I began collaborating with a financial advisor named Rebecca Dolva Watson. She transformed my perspective on business finances. Instead of panicking about the tariffs, she guided me to switch suppliers to domestic manufacturers and broaden my revenue streams. Additionally, we revamped my investment portfolio to focus on sectors that are thriving due to the trade war, such as U.S.-based manufacturing and tech companies adjusting to new supply chain challenges.

    Are there any tarifs on middle east? 😂😂 or oil has to remain cheap?

    • @photonboy999
      @photonboy999 42 хвилини тому

      Canadian oil processing can't easily switch over to other sources. So a 10% Tariff on Canadian oil will affect prices. It's hard to say, because the Saudi are helping Trump with his COUP so I have no idea how that plays out. They probably would help keep oil prices low so Trump isn't attacked more, but Trump is so erratic he did the Tariffs in the first place despite the obvious bad optics.
      Tariffs on the Middle East?
      Ain't gonna happen. Trump aligns with the bad countries. Follow the money. It's not about what's good for America. He's backed by Russia, Saudi Arabia and Donors like Elon Musk who want to remake the Federal Government and take it over forever.

      If interest rates go up, our Fed can bring them back down.
