In this video I have shared complete details on how to travel to Srinagar/dal lake and book a houseboat at dal lake.
I have spoken with the owner of houseboat and he has provided his contact details which will help you to book the houseboat.(not a paid promotion).
We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. He even let us to cook our own food in his kitchen. The houseboat is very clean and affordable. I recommend that you can stay in this houseboat.
He will also help you in purchasing local items from srinagar market at a very good price(much cheaper than usual tourist price).😊
We have purchased saffron, shawls, chochlate and other items from him, he was very helpful.
In this video I have shown you the beauty of the Dal lake and Shankracharya Temple.
In the next episode we will show you the Shankaracharya temple which is located at the heart of Srinagar city.

Also are the government buses of J & K transport easily available from the airport?
We went there in July last year.
You can get the Gov buses just beside the airport. You can check bus frequency at counter near airport’s exit.

We paid 1500 per day per room including breakfast.
Price mainly depends upon season so book accordingly ✌🏻
