We went there in July last year. You can get the Gov buses just beside the airport. You can check bus frequency at counter near airport’s exit.

There are plenty of options in Gangtok. I chose rideon motor cycle rentals, you can get their contact details from Google. They have pretty new bikes.. *not promoting* do bargain for better deal✌🏻
