I’m a free2play user and it’s a fine game but this is a game that makes you play everyday to be stronger since exp is only gained through story modes and beating gates. They don’t let us grind the same story mode mission to get more exp, which means that you only get the gates to gained exp once you hit a mission that you can’t beat in story mode. There is also too many things to level up as you mentioned like the skills, the artifacts and even just basic attacks. Lastly the stats on the MC basically don’t matter, precision and attack only matter, def, crit, hp, don’t matter since you can get those states free with artifacts and weapons. I like to balance my stats, but it got to a story point where I just tested everything in attack and beat 3 full chapters more and was never once close to dying.

Very valid review. Summed up my initial thoughts well even without playing the game. I know what to expect and yeah this one aint for me, I want to play it just for the story as well.

There was a couple of stuff I assume was free to claim but it was gated behind a pay wall. Most modern gacha now gives initial rolls with a guarantee 5star or SSR but this game doesn't even have that. It was so in your face like about taking your money.

I actually love the game. It’s pretty fun and I’m f2p. U don’t need to rush the game. Y’all rush a game and then complain the game was too short. You don’t need to pay to enjoy the game. The devs of this game are way way better than the devs of DMC Peak of combat. Like which dev gives free rewards every day since launch? Even DMC couldn’t do that and game was damn too difficult and it fell off faster than anything.
Why are you assuming he rushed it, and where the hell did dmcpoc come into the convo? Just because one gatcha game is more greedy than another doesn’t mean all of the sudden it’s good. If a game is good it stands on its own two feet. No one says “Ah bloodborne is good because it’s not as bad about letting British people talk as xenoblade is” or “oh disco elysium it has a better man to woman ration than dragon ball.” Talk about the game and what actually makes it good not relative to another terrible game, just as he talked how the poor narrative pacing and the gatcha level gameplay pacing made him stop.
@@markevinlagsac3252 really are you sure that’s what they meant? When I hear someone rushed a game I think b-line to the end not engage with any of the games mechanics or side activities skip cutscenes etc. so I don’t think he “rushed it”. “Quit the game too early” would be a much better phrase I’d say. But I’m curious, once you beat igris does the game stop having terrible pacing? I don’t imagine it would, but you seem like you have so I’m curious.
I've made it to chapter 15, the camera at times made me lose boss fights, the constant loading made me wanna close the game for the day, it just took me out of the immersion and the 5 minute wait for the fucking gates to refresh made me lose time of the day I could use doing something else. If you don't plan on paying them for auto mining and currency to instantly recharge the gates, you'll waste your day looking at the fucking screen until you can actually do any S rank gates, if you do lower ones you get shittier rewards and waster keys on that. The boss fights were cool and the combat was awesome, too bad everything else was shit. I quit and moved on to Wuthering Waves.
1. theres a camera lock if you press right click. 2. you are right there is a loading issue but its because of the servers and it will eventually be fixed. 3. the gate rewards dont differ much from d-s rank gates, so you shouldnt even be worrying about that. (not trying to spread hate btw)
Solo leveling player, and I hear your points which are some of the same thoughts I had too. Perhaps it's my bias from having played a lot of Gacha games that I'm desensitized from it or maybe a sucker for the Manhwa and book (defo recommend reading), but it's a half decent game. With games like Genshin and now Weathering Waves, it's nice to have a mini break on a game that decent. Not perfect or amazing, just cool looking and nice mechanics. Plus as you said, it's more a promotion for the book than the game really as that's my main tiff about it. They skip so much of the beginning and character-building building it's jarring. That aside, I appreciate your take as no game is perfect even if it's entertaining.
It's not worth it. The cool 1% moments can't carry things. Btw you can just read the manwha or anime. It's completely unnecessary to waste your time on the game
Gacha games are a cancer and the worst thing to ever happen to anime games. These games aren't meant to be fun. They're meant to be addicting and time wasting. It's why I eventually dropped genshin. And that's supposed to be one of the least aggresious when it comes to gacha monetization BS. God, I wish they would just make normal console/pc games. Spinoffs are dead. It's all just gacha slop for the rest of forever.
You should try Wuthering Waves, it can be similar to this stuff but it’s 100% more skill over this. Devs are constantly listening to feedback and focusing on improving combat
It's literally genshin impact with like 4 more combat mechanics, but other than that it doesn't change anything else other than the fact that the 5 star drop rates are a bit higher to appeal to the community and brand itself off as "easier to get into" , give it two months, it will literally be worse than genshin impact in everyway and if you still play it you're extremely oblivious and just have absolutely nothing to do with your day to day. Why the criticism? because there's literally nothing different, you have the same kind of events, you have the same kind of open world, literally the same kind of chapter to chapter and mission animations pop up, slightly better animations but there is literally, absolutely nothing catering to it being any different to genshin impact aside from the 4 new combat mechanics, the... let's just call them "improved" graphics, performance issues, and like literally the same gameplay gatcha format from when genshin released back in the day, how is it any fucking different from what tower of fantasy tried to do? People like to dick ride on anything new that reaches their ear because it's simply branded as "new" , thing caused by the fact that people don't even really bother opening books in the first place to really deepen their reading comprehension. Wuthering waves is the same thing as solo leveling, a pointless reskin that wants you to think it's the next "new" best thing and have you spend time, resources, and eventually even money if they cater enough to you. The thing that's different from hoyoverse devs and wuthering devs is that hoyoverse NEVER, will NEVER release an unfinished game, they might have shitty business models like every other gatcha, but I didn't see wuthering waves having 4 different CBA and ask for feedback from the community regarding everything that's going on with the gameplay, and I am saying this because honkai star rail was the same, and zenless zone zero which I heard will come out next month has literally been getting the same treatment. Hoyoverse has the whole gatcha game thing as the only real thing keeping them alive, wuthering waves devs on the other hand have their feet barely in water and call it the whole ocean.
Just dropped it right after the Tutorial. It Immediately tries SELLING you shit. Do this bunch of free summons so you can keep one, NOPE You gotta pay for it though. Im over these things...It "Looks" Great, And im impressed with the story stuff. Voicing. All that. But screw battle passes and all that shit..

@testimony201 thank for saying that, I agree!
@@twofacezero257 did not even beat Igris. pretty rushed to me.
Gacha games make money off of people with lack of patience and people with deep pockets that want to be #1 in the rankings
Is that mobile game canon to this story?
One piece fighting path has amazing pvp which makes it better
Yeah the art is fantastic I have a bunch of panels as my wallpaper on rotation
It's so bad that you love it.
What consoles can you play it on
Hardwork!!!!!!!!! And I love it!!!! hell yeahhh!!!!!
@@silaslarsen2396 the camera function is literally worthless, nothing changes and I don't care about the game anymore, won't touch it again.
thats why i subscribed
Globku, please try wuthering waves. I'm sure you'll like the combat
💀💀💀💀
@@tellyg47 what?
i don't like the 3min timer in every stage... How can i enjoy the level design if i'm rushed along...
You just need skill brother.
After a while auto looks better .I started relying on auto and lost interest .It is heavy ptow and eventually lost interest
Manwa is still considered manga so you were correct the first time.
And mangas are still comics
@@randomgamer625 yes they are all considered comics, comics are just the american naming
So this sounds like it might be more Grundy than monster hunter
If ur sick of anime mobile games go play legends or dokkan those are very different i think youd like them
they have that levelling boundry on genshin impact and honk stair rail as well.
At least it expanded the characters of Solo Leveling Arise in interesting ways.
It even added OCs so I'm glad it exists.
I don't agree about the bleach brave souls point 🙁
Does this game have ANY direct PvP at all? If it's all PvE, I might actually check it out :D
It's not worth it. The cool 1% moments can't carry things. Btw you can just read the manwha or anime. It's completely unnecessary to waste your time on the game
What about or what ever happened to the Full Metal one that was supposed to come out couple years ago and just disappeared?
Gachas haven’t been good since Brave Frontier. So if I see a cool game and then find out there’s gacha elements, it’s an instant pass
anime games are so dry this year beside dragon ball SZ and Inazuma eleven VR
lets hope they show something in summer game fest or xbox show case
Idk im loving this game so far and its funny how this gatcha game gets to you yet My Hero Ultra Rumble doesnt 😂
I had the exact same problem with One Punch Man the World
I mean I understand the materials without thinking
Gacha games are a cancer and the worst thing to ever happen to anime games. These games aren't meant to be fun. They're meant to be addicting and time wasting. It's why I eventually dropped genshin. And that's supposed to be one of the least aggresious when it comes to gacha monetization BS. God, I wish they would just make normal console/pc games. Spinoffs are dead. It's all just gacha slop for the rest of forever.
Got the ad of it on the video fr
So basically the game is what you would expect solo leveling to be like IRL grind. And we complain that it's grindy?
U gonna play WuWa?
the game is too easy, theres absolutely no way you can die against a boss
after first episode , i completly read the whole manga and it makes the anime obsolete , the art is so good
You should try Wuthering Waves, it can be similar to this stuff but it’s 100% more skill over this.
I actually have bleach brave soula and love the hell out of it......
Everything is reasonable
I was trying to play it but my phone isn't good enough
Can you test Wuthering waves it’s pretty fun
Just dropped it right after the Tutorial. It Immediately tries SELLING you shit. Do this bunch of free summons so you can keep one, NOPE You gotta pay for it though. Im over these things...It "Looks" Great, And im impressed with the story stuff. Voicing. All that. But screw battle passes and all that shit..
You can take the guest account and reroll?
Just dont click on it 💀💀💀
You're right that in that its formulaic gocha slop. I've reach the point where they all feel the same to me.
honestly if we are talking gacha games solo leveling isn't really worth your time or money. the only good one has been genshin for a good long time and wuwa if you want genshin but hate elemental reactions and too far behind and having a fomo.
try wuthering waves globku the combat is best
TRY WUTHERING WAVES PLEASE 💪💪
Yeah it better be!
My Sung Jin Woo Basics, QTE & Ultimate Are Max 🗿
The demon slayer board game got more praise than this game from globku😭
Anime games are really getting grows love shinobi striker but trying to become a mobile game is gross
Bro you sound like you an impatient Dude , the story of this game is season 1 but also season 2 , remember season 2 not released yet …..this game reveals the Season 2 entirely I’m at chapter 9 and yes I add to Upgrade my My player and all the hunter to keep progressing , at some you need to close the game and wait tommar to get exp And Bonus to level and keep pushing, But you definitely don’t need to pay anything for progressing and clear the game Unless you an impatient dude like you ….leveling up simply by hustling, you don’t know that for sure
Get your papers done by the end of the week Tom 😂
@@randomgamer625 paper ??? I make more money than you ever made goofy!! Period …. and hope that wasn’t a racial profiling because Your mother need to raise you again!! Now what’s up …. Mothaaa sockaaa 😂
❤❤❤
Now play Wuthering Waves
Genshin wasn’t a good game why would someone play a clone of it
@HabitualThinker it is way more fun in terms of combat. Genshin is like a point and click in comparison.
The game is new. Give it time to develop. They do regular surveys and updates. Just give the game time.
How about MAKING A GOOD GAME! There’s no way non of this was caught during development
i hate that cacha has come so far that it's even in console games like mhur but what can you do about it oh well at least i have like max luck stat so i usually get what i want but it still sucks too see.
Too bad they dont make this like a dark souls game and have it similar to WOW and i think this would be fun. Not a big fan as pay to win. Good to grind but not pay 1000s of dollars to win
ha if you started reading solo leveling then im sorry to say you'll be coming back to this game just to see how they play it out, you haven't even gotten your shadows yet. The grind is real at first but soon you hit a point where you wish you had more to grind XD, especially when everything becomes to hard to even beat if you dont spend money.
Why does it need a grind at all? Games should be FUN not a second job
