Was having a bunch of difficulties with some videos and I’m going out of town for a couple weeks. Hopefully this will help you guys build it in the meantime - Розваги
Hi, now this idea you can add on the gauntlet is to make the missile compartment open and close by a click of a button on the fingers. So that its a 2 in 1 gauntlet which will make it more cool and fun.
Great idea!
This video is amazing, the best iron man arm I’ve seen. This video need way more views. Please please please do more body parts.
That's fresh AF! impressive
Thats what we needed, let the building begin!!
dude, that thing is sick!!!
This is the coolest thing I’ve seen!
Love it. Amazing project. I plan something similar for my own mk 42 version. Keep up the great work and wish you all the best
You too, please let me know when you finish your project. I would love to see the end result!
That is so awesome dude
How does this only have 2k views
Legal irmão ! Você faz pra vender também ?
This is sick!! Awesome work
Thank you! Love the metal cast mando plate, very cool
This is is sick!! 🦾
this is really cool, what CAD program did u use on this?
okay that is sick
In the process of building this, the video could use narration, or descriptive pop but its great to have a visual representation
Thanks for this video!! I am so confused about the pdf assembly guide as a beginner.😂
It’s probably not the clearest, feel free to email me any questions! I had some issues with the footage for assembling the hand pieces and forearm covers, but I’m gonna be out of town for a couple weeks. Wish I could’ve got the full video up before I left!
Amazing!
That's so cool
Wow this is really the best Ironman tech applied in real life, please work on the full body armour if possible, I can see this becoming a reality in the nearest future and I will love it to be you that achieved it.
Thank you! I plan to make the boots next, I’ll look into making the full suit like this
The best that you know of :)
This is incredible.
Only thing you could do is add a kind of button to the bottom of the arm and the top of the holder and it's automatic!
thank you! And I I’m working on that idea now!
@@tommytech2 thought you might already! So very amazing to see this. Really well done
Top j’ai presque fini

Hey one of your old video where you started making this is one where you pressed a button and just the top part of the arm opened and I’ve made a model and everything I just don’t know how to code it because ChatGPT sucks🙄 but I was wondering if you could do a tutorial on that or tell me how
What software did you use to model this?
DUDE how do you only have 528 Subs??
Im working on it 😅
Will u be making a whole suit like that ?
Having a bit of trouble in my own assembly process.
A lot of the screw tolerances are way too big leading to loose parts.
Once wired the two wing servos do not align as well as yours do and do not align with much consistency.
Lastly, the piece that closes on top of the hand appears to be acting opposite the rest of the gauntlet and no matter what I change in the code it consistently does the opposite.
Sorry to hear that! The big problem with screw holes is that people have printers calibrated differently, so the tolerances can be different as well. Two fixes you could try are to use larger screws or a filler material to thicken up the screw holes.
I’ll have to see pictures to see what’s causing an alignment issue with the wing servos, that’s the first I’ve heard of that problem
I’d recommend taking off the top hand piece and testing the servos individually, they could be misaligned or another hardware issue could be causing that.
If you want some more in depth help, feel free to email me at tommytech222@gmail.com
tu as des nouveaux projets pour continuer le bras jusque a l'épaule ???
This is sick I would love one but I don’t have a 3d printer 😢
This is dope..
Please upload the stl and the wiring diagram please
The links to the STLs and all related files are in the video description
I love it, to good.Looks and functions just like in the movie. But i have one question, when are you going to upload the rest of the video that were missing? Like the hand
Can you also make the iron man MK4/6 variant of this transformable gauntlet?
Since you are making the MK3 if you have the time to do so
I have all the parts for the mk6, gonna fry and make a more detailed tutorial this week. And yes I can look into trying to make a mk4/6 variant as well
Alright
Hi. Great job! Could you add a list of things, e.g. what servo, Arduino, etc.? I'm subscribing and I hope your channel grows quickly!!
Thank you! If you want a how to build list with everything itemized, it’s available under my cults3d for free. The fit check file has them
@@tommytech2 ok thanks!!
Hello, i have no experience with 3d printing or coding but have access to a 3d printer, do you think making this would be doable, given your instructions?
I would recommend trying out some basic servo projects first. This is a bit of an investment for the entire build, so start with something smaller to see if it’s something you enjoy doing
Hey im wondering how much would you sell one for already built?
Please let me know, im so dumb for wanting it but your design is amazing!
Thanks! Unfortunately for me it would be a significant amount of money, this takes me hours to build and I am currently spending my time with new designs so I don’t have the bandwidth
@@tommytech2 what are you bulding next? Im subbing to support smaller channel like you! You got some real talent hope u can get rich from it and dont forget the guy who commented and inspired you haha
3:49 That red flexible material. Was that TPU?
7:18 I'm going to have to look into coding again after seeing this video.
7:33 I've been thinking. Have you ever considered assigning a pressure button of sorts on one of the fingers to get out of the gauntlet?
Ninjaflex TPU
Chatgpt helped me a lot!
I have, current idea is a reed switch in the forearm that activates once you put it on the stand
Hey just wondering when you are adjusting the code to make the pieces fit together more flush what is the trick to I’ve adjusted the number up and down for each and doesn’t seem to be helping is there any trick to it thanks
Hey elijah! Please email me at tommytech222@gmail.com and send me some pictures/videos so I can know more of what you’re talking about. I’m more than happy to try and help you through the issues
@@tommytech2actually figured it out but thanks
You think it’s okay if I use a 220 uf capacitor instead or do I have to do 1000
It’ll prob work
@@tommytech2Okay great thanks
So I downloaded and printed this but I found out that the pieces do not fit perfectly snug together, as in there is a small gap between the movable forearm pieces which is even seen in the video. Is this by design to allow the to open and close more easily or a design error? I can easily overcome this by using a heat gun to heat up the material and bend it slightly to make sure everything closes tightly together but I don't want to change something if it has a purpose
Yes there is a slight gap to compensate for slop in movement. Feel free to warp them as needed
@@tommytech2 are you sure the brackets are ok as they are or do they need sizing? I am having trouble fitting them and making sure everything closes snug and the servo arms do not fit in the brackets and I need to cut them down
@@tommytech2 actually I think there's a problem with the mesh of the top right clamper. Can you have a look because even the slicer is making holes where there should be any
Could you detail the number of servos, the types of cards and the weight of the prints, I would like to estimate the price for this build
I’m out of town so I can’t post it now, but if you go to the test fitting link on cults3d I included the how to build guide for free download. It has all the links to what I used to make it. Filament wise, you can make the whole gauntlet with less than 1 kg, as long as you use mostly organic supports
Is there any way to make something similar to this that’s way cheaper to make because I can’t afford all the electronic parts so just one that opens and closes automatically not one where different parts of the arm moves
I have a design on my cults 3d that is much simpler and resizable. It is the same gauntlet but just the missile cover is motorized
Hi, I’m having issues where the servo’s will only open and not close when pressing the trigger.
I have
GND to GND
5V to VCC
4A to SDA
5A to SC
GND to 2
Every time I click the trigger it only opens and never closes
Email me some pics at Tommytech222@gmail.com, I can try and help you debug it from there
Could you give a link to where you get the electronic parts please
They are included in the how to build guide. You can find that on the fit check file download on my cults3d
@@tommytech2 ok thanks also im trying to buy the 120pcs dupont wire kit but i live in uk so the only ones i can get are 20cm is that ok?
Bought your model, installed it, but can't program it. Can you write a tutorial on Arduino Nano?
I will post an updated video in the future! Email me at tommytech222@gmail.com and I may be able to help you with your issue
Could you provide a bit more detail in the build notes as to what screws go where? Just saying to buy m3 and m2 screws and then giving no indication where to use them beyond the stand is very confusing.
Sure thing! Most of it is fastened with m3 screws. The electronics are fastened with m2 screws, as well as the repulsor light holder in the hand piece and the flexible wrist piece to the top clampers. The retainer clip in the hand piece that clamps the flexible piece is also m2 screws, and I think that’s it. You should be able to tell by the size of the holes, but sometimes it’s a bit hard. Hopefully this helps for the time being, I’ll update the file when I get a chance
I’m confused on how to screw the top clamper hinges in. The wing servo blocks it and wouldn’t a screw fall out after you operate it a bunch?
Just picked up the files! You open to work? I need another ironman part made
Email me! Tommytech222@gmail.com
You got STL files for that?
Yep check the description!
😍😍
Nice but holy crap, what did you do to your arduino pins😂
You mean the right angle headers? I got them specifically to give my wrist more room
yo thats cool you should giveit a flame thrower and make a whole suit with the power source mounted on the back
That would be sick. You think people would support a patreon for the suit? I can’t afford that on my own dime
Printing the tpu fingers is a real pain in the arse you offer any type of commission on those?
Yeah I could do commission on those. Email me at tommytech222@gmail.com for Inquiries
Just the rest of the suit now...lol
Easy peasy 😅
Can I buy it from you?

bro, if u bought model, can u share with me?
Imagine motors require for full suit 😂
I know right, it’s very daunting to think about 😂
