magicmisteur no. i dont believe in a god. My parents are good at art. And i was drawing since i could ever hold a pen. only stickmen back then... but look at my profile picture and see what im painting today. Now tell me why we dont all become artists then...if you think every one can draw...? If you ask me its an interest you are born with....and you can choose to become better at it or let the skill go to waste.

You guys just sold Tiltbrush for me. I saw the video of the Disney artist using it and I was only sort of impressed. You guys made *actual* 3D drawings, not 2D drawings in 3D. Amazing. And it looked like it took you guys no time at all.

+VashingVale/Redthing You can get Adobe CC for free for a month... firstly it's plenty of time to do something in it, secondly if you like it and wanna stay on the legal side of Adobe users, just reinstall your system every month - it doesn't take more than 3 hours to do that completelly and if you aren't able to make that money in that time then it isn't even a waste of it.

    It's like Mario paint evolved!
Gaming has been stagnant and iterative for a while now. There was the big jump from 2d to 3d and it opened doors to experiences that just weren't possible before. Then the coming of always online internet connections was another big game changer giving birth to mmo's competitive deathmatches and the idea of Esports and professional gamers. Since then there hasn't been any real big leaps, graphics have gotten incrementally better, hd added clarity but in broad terms a thing like the xbox 1 or ps4 doesn't really provide a totally new experience that wasn't possible on 360,ps3 or even ps2/xbox. Its nicer looking, the amount of people that can play together at once grew but its essentially the same.
This, VR and to an even greater extent body tracking room scale VR is revolutionary. What they did in this video, painting in a 3d space, taking motion controls and tying to the immersion offered by hmds is something new, an honest to goodness change in the way we interact and in a big way. And make no mistakes this is just the beginning, a concept in its infancy much like the ps1 and n64 where just the very start of 3d gaming. There's so much potential here, I can imagine detective games where you literally have to check the room for evidence, find clues hidden where you have to open a cabinet or turn over a mug to see what's written at the bottom. I can imagine multiplayer lobbies rendered to be a space station in orbit around a burning star where you can speak and interact with other players that you see there avatars in a real way. Were this tech will be in 10 or 15 years will be amazing. That's why I dropped what's not an insignificant amount of money to me on pre ordering a Vive. I've been a gamer for over 20 years and I'm ready to go beyond whats been and step into a future of limitless possibilites
