One HUGE thing I did not hear in this presentation was ... LENGTH of loan. Cars are typically financed for 48 or 60 months. Boat loans are often 8, 10 or even FIFTEEN YEARS (as appears to be the case in the $150K payment projections)
Is this the same for large center console boats...100-300k range? In general if the person has perfect credit is their typically a certain bank credit union that gives the best rates?

Can i Finance the cost of owed taxes to my state? My credit score is 825 and i have zero debt right now.
TR 2002 hey thank you for that info buddy! So i guess lenders look for suckers like me that want a 20yr loan if i show that i can pay my bills and debt off 😂🤣. Man it been a rough road to get to this point, i was prob $40K in total debt after my divorce in 2008, i thought about bankruptcy many times but never did it, just played the zero % balance transfer game on the cards and finally got them payed off a few years ago. This will be my last boat finance because i normally keep the boat for a long time so i have no problem going for 20yrs and get that small monthly payment and pay if off early.
If I want to purchase an 80K boat and I have 40K cash, should pay 40K as a down payment or should I get the loan first and then make the payment? Provided there's no early payment penalty.
is it possible to still put a down payment on a boat if you have 10-13k cash with bad credit even tho its gonna give you higher intrest rates? even if they run ur credit will the still take ur cash downpayment for a boat?

what is the typical loan term or length of loan is it like a car 72 months or like a mortgage for home ..if your loan amount is like 80K
