#rugbychampionship #allblacks #springboks
I think the Springboks have more to play for. 4 wins in a row against the ABs for the first time in 70+ years. First freedom cup in 15 years. Clean sweap vs ABs. Maintaining 1st place on the world rugby rankings and ofcourse the Rugby championship.
Gonna be a hell of a game.
Yeah man definitely not going to be complacent
I wouldn't say more to play for but instead to be considered better than the 09 Boks and the odds are in NZs favour, I mean to beat the ABs 4 in a row is unheard of.in our lifetime.
@@TwoCentsRugbylets hope they are eyeing that 4 in a row
To me the world rankings should start with number 2 and below. When a team is the reigning world champ they should always maintain their #1 ranking until it's time to defend their RWC.
@@AntoniusMalan And don’t forget playing to win for the people of SA 😁
It sucks that Newlands is not a thing anymore! The history of that place... The stadium at Green Point is a phenomenal venue, but Newlands has such a rich history for Western Province, the Stormers and South Africa at large.
Sure, but history accrues as time moves forward. Green Point will develop its own as time passes :)
@YOYOTh1s I think Newlands is going to be flattened for new development unfortunately.
I feel the nostalgia and glad I had the opportunity to watch a game at Newlands.
But bigger is better in this case; and home is where the heart is. Stormers will make Greenpoint as nostalgic when I look back at it when my kids is my age.
@@ruanbezuidenhout6811 i think that's the big thing for me. I've been to Ellis Park, Loftus, Toyota Stadium, Kings Park, Mbombela, and even in Kimberley, but never at Newlands. It was always the last one I'd want to watch a rugby match at. So i guess I've missed out.
@YOYOTh1s Get what you saying bud, sorry about that. Give it a couple of years' good games, then go watch at Greenpoint. I hope it soothes it a bit.😄
I've only been to Newlands and Kingspark. You've set me some new goals just now!
This will be my 1st game watching the all blacks live, really looking forward to the game
Also, the viewers' commenting is always so respectful and knowledgeable. You definitely know what you're talking about to attract a crowd like that.
Love watching mate.
This really stood out to me, since I watch a lot of soccer, and the UA-cam comments on those are chalk and cheese to rugby.
Boks still have a heap of potential starting players out - 5 locks (RG Snyman, Franco Mostert, Lood DeJager, Jean Klein, Salmaan Moerat), Steven Kitshoff (just returned from injury - not yet match fit?), Faf de Klerk, Kurt-Lee Arendse and Damian Willemse. But it's really good to see Moody back. All in all, not a bad Bok team given the available players. But this definitely a rotated team with some combination experiments in play.
On the other side, the All Black team looks a lot more balanced than the last week's version. They are definitely going to be up for it!
As for form, over the last 20 matches (against all teams), the Boks have won 85% and the ABs have won 70%. The Boks' average score is 33-16 and the ABs is 36-17.
This is going to be a spicy encounter - AB's looking to prevent a whitewash and an extremely rare 4th loss in a row (this will only be hte 2nd time ever against the Boks), while the Boks are looking to tie up the RC, get teh Freedom Cup, and keep that win streak against the ABs rolling.
When last did Lood actually play? Seems like he’s been repeatedly injured.
A pity.
@@e-moshe Yeah. He was out most of last year with pericarditis and now he has a shoulder injury.
Want Moodie to score a wonder try that actually gets to stand!😬
I feel like the Boks have the advantage based on these selections. Razor seems to have selected his team in reaction to the Boks performance (i.e. more experience on the bench to combat bomb-squad, etc) whereas Rassie seems to have selected proactively to a suit a certain game plan (more conservative, tactical kicking, more kicks at goal, etc) regardless of what the AB's decide.
I think Rassie is in Razor's head unfortunately.
Will be an epic game.
Not in his head, the two injuries have just forced Razor to change his gameplan. Telea and Reece can't catch highballs, unlike Clarke. So now we have to play a running game.
How often do the all blacks lose two in a row? Not often. This is a huge game for them and they will be fired up, SA will be better than last week and will want to prove they are the best. Some legends of the game going at it again, I want this to be the world cup final but with 15 Vs 15 for the full 80. What a test this will be
Tell Sam Cane not to tackle like an idiot then it might be
@@tsudanie Did you hear what Rassie said about Cane in the press conference after announcing the team? Jeez, talk about respect!
AB's has lost 3 in a row now against the Boks. This will be 4 if the Boks pull it through

Mate, I love your channel. As a South African I think that it is so rare, across all sporting codes and even in other top level rugby teams to see such respect across our two camps. I know it’s genuine when you allude to being happy to see our good players back in the team. We feel the same way. Beating the ABs when they are playing their best, with their best players is the best feeling and we know it’s mutual. May our robust and respectful competitive spirit long continue!
Good luck to the All Blacks and may the best team win, hoping for another great game of rugga!
Cheers,

Good luck too you mate should be a great game
The All Blacks want the 2nd best team to win. This is going to be an epic match, both teams & coaches really want this one. The last time the Boks beat NZ in CT was 2005. Andre Pretorius kicked a drop goal for the Boks
This game is a beautiful game of chess with regards to team selection, and i dont just mean the specific player selection. Rassie leaving it later for team selection has also got something to do with it
Handrè absorbs pressure like a sponge. Not worried at all about him 👍😎

No poor ref calls. REPEAT: NO POOR REF CALLS! I like the changes: Ratima, Jordan at FB, TJP and BB impact off the bench. Te'lea MAKE YOUR TACKLES. Pollard is massive at 10. Boks depth reminds me of the AB's glory days.
Excited by both lineups ..will not be the same style of game as last week...the freedom cup is on the line and maybe a 16th year for the AB's
Sam cane needs to go to tackling school. The man is late in his career and still don't know how to tackle. Last week could've easily been a red if properly checked.
Hoping you will wear a Bok shirt for the after game analysis.
Two good teams named for Saturday.
As a Bok fan, hoping for a better start than last week from our boys!
As much as it saddens me to say, South Africa will win. They just are something else at the moment. I've always thought the 96-97 All Blacks and the 2012-15 All Blacks have been the best international rugby teams of all time. I would have to put this current South African team up there. It will be a great game!

My personal opinion is that Rassie needs Pollard to ensure accuracy in goal kicking because this will be a tight game. People forget Pollard was the reason we won the World Cup. This will definitely be a great game
AB's played some great attacking rugga, dont think this is going to happen this weekend, Boks to win. This 2 teams are my favourite to watch love the AB's.
I'm expecting an epic match. A win by 10 plus

Been waiting for Ratima to start!!! Even longer for Jordan to be FB! Yeah buddy!
Like the words here . TASTY!!! cannot wait.
I've realised this week that at this point, I almost don't care who wins between the Boks and ABs. (Although I always hope the Boks gets the W!)
Just watching them play is rewarding enough.
Looking forward to another banger of a game.
These stats about the last time the Boks beat All Blacks three times in a row, the stat about 35-7 game being the All Blacks biggest ever defeat from anyone, All Blacks having held onto the Freedom Cup for 15 years.... this all speaks to the unbelievable quality of our greatest foe. Just beating the All Blacks once is a massive achievement for most rugby playing nations. This Bok team is truly special for many reasons, the back-to-back WC wins being the most obvious, but I think we need the All Blacks more than anything to keep us honest. Great respect for the All Blacks, and these two teams need each other to be at their best, or else it all kind of just feels....meh. We could feel it when we got smashed 57-0, it was like the All Blacks were disappointed big time, neither team wants to be that dominant over the other.
100%.. As a kiwi I want our southern hem teams to be the best in the world. SA are enjoying an impressive run. Securing the freedom cup will as well as the rugby championship will be the icing on the cake. I hope aussie can find their stride again. Miss the epic bledisloe clashes
@@teokotaiakania6518 Yes, honestly I've never had much love for the Wallabies, those games are always personal, the same as when we play against England, but to see the Wallabies being this poor is also not great... We've had a laugh, that's fine, but would love to see them back at their best.

Great analysis. I really like the stats.(Accountant). Can imagine the lights going on about 2 30 all over New Zealand. Hot cup of Coffee and buscuits. Early and Two Cents cannot have a beer. Maybe for the students. Start up with a beer, that they will regret later in the day. Maybe Tony? Does pubs open in NZ that early?
The selection of Sititi seems to have divided views, some think he's the answer to the AB's woes while others think he's too small and, basically, rubbish, we'll find out who's right
So what? Kwagga is also small.
Satiti will bring his A game just watch
I mean he's 113kg that ain't small
When Siya and Ardie tackle each other it's actually just a big hug.. they're too good of friends to hurt one another
Love this comment. I have siyas book at home big fan of his
I was surprised to see how many Boks and AB’s are actually good friends who hang out frequently. Seen a few UA-cam shorts where they’re having BBQ’s and drink ups together

I agree that there is a question mark over the ABs. The Boks are a real champion team at this time. Razor is still finding his feet and his best combinations.
When did Fozzie find his feet, or was given the chance to find his feet ........after every loss he was under pressure
NZ played with 889 caps in the backline last week the boks with just over 600 - How is NZ rebuilding when the boks played with rookies at 5,7,10 and 15???
Every coach that can't win is rebuilding
@@tsudanielol...you NZ guys are even more critical of your team than we can be...big stakes for both teams..
Tell Razor his feet is at the bottom of his legs...
Despite the loss to SA, been a while the box have had 4 tries put on the Box in their home soil and on the velt to boot. The box win has glossed over the glaring problems they have against the AB’s attack. To let in 4 in 60 mins and having to chase the game must be a major concern considering they had made major strides in the last year or two in their defence, so witness their changes to try combat that no doubt. Blackadder gives his all but has a history of injuries which unfortunately has curtailed his career big time. Be interesting to see the NZ changes make the effect they hope for in the last 20. Thought the Box would easily win the first test at home on the velt, and to see NZ do better than we expected before running out of puff gives this second test an intrigue on how the changes may work. Some game closing badly needed and no doubt spelt out to them.
No surprise that boks let in 4 tries .Boks tried to play attacking expansive rugby and that meant no set defence when we made mistakes and the abs scored counter attack tries. So watch with Pollard we will play a forward dominated game combined with a tactical kicking game .
boks 24-23
With Handre on there will be no tries scored from the backline - nethertheless, a kick will not sail amiss.
First half prediction:
- Game opens with Handre Pollard knocking a penalty over (3).
- Will Jordan scores the opening try for the All Blacks and Damian Mckenzie has a shot from right out in front (3-7).
- Boks then win another penalty and kick for touch, Boks drive the rolling maul and Bongi scores. Handre Pollard glides it between the sticks (10-7).
- Jordie Barrett beats Siya Kolisi for a linebreak but gets chased to the sideline by the Boks lightning quick #9 and #11. Jordie Barrett passes to Mark Tele'a who scores in the corner (10-12).
- Damian Mckenzie narrowly misses the conversion.
- Sam Cane high tackle (yellow card) - Penalty kick, that's 3 more for Handre Pollard (13-12) and half time.
Second half prediction:
- Boks win 2 penalties in the second half, Handre Pollard slots the first one and Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu slots the second one (19-12).
- All Blacks score from a rolling maul, try goes to Ardie Savea. Beauden Barret misses the conversion from 4 meters in from the sideline (19-17).
- Beauden Barrett slots a 45 meter penalty from straight out in front (19-20).
- All Blacks get another penalty close to the line and take the 3 points (19-23).
- Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu links with Lukanyo Am and Canaan Moodie to get the ball over the line in spectacular fashion. Moodie scores and Boks win (24-23).
In the end
i'll be back after the game to rate your predications
Hahaha that's an entertaining and quite credible prediction.

Not entirely sold on the selection. I like seeing Willie back but the change on the wing and at 10 just seems like a lot of movement all at once. I'm not sure how rusty Moodie might be, it's also a big ask to 'mark' Telea.
I get that there's probably a gameplan attached to all these changes but I think the ABs look better on paper.
Should be a great game though.
The Boks better brace themselves. The All Blacks have too much grit and pride not to come back harder. If the Boks start as lethargically as they did against Ireland in the second test, they will struggle.
Interesting selections from Razor & Co. For us ABs fans, everything is question mark currently... Let's see I guess :)

Who are gonna replace Ofa with? He's already like our fourth or fifth choice, and only got picked due to injuries.
The problem with a World Cup jersey when you don’t win that World Cup, it never quite feels right wearing it after, as opposed to when you win,
I had the dreaded grey jersey of 2007 , never wore it again 😂
Boks by 2 scores 😊
So which one?
By 10 or by 14?
@@MuzorewaRatshikuni 8 is 2 scores
Boks by 10! This is Rassie's best 23 of currently available players. Obviously missing Mostert, Lood, Jean Kleyn etc doesn't help. Jaden Hendrikse from the bench suggests we want to close out with a defensive, slower kicking game. Fast start then slow it in the last 20
I like the AB selections this week. I do think beaudie is better off the bench. Some youth and energy with sititi and ratima, lessgo!
Would just like to say that Rassie was the one who said siya fractured his face and made a caveat that he (Rassie) is not a doctor. So it would seem soya does not have a facial fracture.
Edit: specific quote: 'I'm not a medical doctor, but I think it is a fracture'
Listen to the SA team announcement where Siya injury is mentioned. Just aBroken nose. Review shows head to head contact. And Sam Cane apparently admitted it after the game, where Rassie said he don't see it more as a yellow, so didn't send it to be reviewed after the game.
All depends on how many tries the ABs score in the first half.
An interesting stat , if we lose , razors win loss record goes below 60 percent , early days I know but it’s not familiar territory for the ABs .
Ironic to select Reece after Siya’s comments about GBV last week
Licking my lips for this one. Boks by 3points... hey I'll take it! Thanks Mark.
The forward battle is going to be fascinating. The ABs Def has the pack to match the bokke.
The bokke will def do some kicks on the ABs wings. I wonder how the AB back 3’s kicking. Game will be, without Barret at 15.
@twocentsrugby hope you have klippies left? 🎉😂
Bokke by 10😅
Enjoy the game all.
If a ball carrier (Kolisi example) wants to throw their head into contact by ducking so low that their back is almost horizontal, then they should immediately be excluded from any card decisions unless the tackler directly hits the head first.
Canes tackle was perfectly legal. Not his fault that two big guys running hard and low at each other will often cause a whiplash effect and they ended up clattering heads. Ball carriers should be expected to take accountability of where they put their head as much as the tacklers are. 🤷♂️
Also turnovers won was likely helped by the ref refusing to stop the boks just lying all over the NZ side of almost every single ruck. 🤷♂️ Then having the gaul to penalise TJ for yelling at him to penalise the blatantly obvious infrigements! 🤦🏻♂️
I wonder if Razor is panicking. If we fail to win, he would have a worse record than his predecessor as far as Rugby Championships are concerned.
I agree with Murray Mexted that we should not be trying out things when playing against the current world champions. We should be putting our best team forward. I feel we are experimenting with the backline this week. Jordon has not played many games at fullback at this level. Whenever he has, he was at best average at this level. What people may not have considered, we have been playing with 2 number 10s ( playmakers) for a while. Before it used to be Beauden and Mounga and now McKenzie and Beauden. Jordon is not a playmaker ( as yet). Without Beauden there, McKenzie will be under a lot of pressure. He is not a player who performs well under pressure… at least so far.
Analysing last week, I felt our starting team was about 8 out of 10. Because of the backline, the starting team for next week is at best 6 out of 10. Our bench last week at best was about 4 out of 10. If Razor once again brings the bench in fifteen minutes from the end, this bench will at best be 5 out of 10. Bringing this bench in earlier will elevate things to 6 or 7.
If things are not panning out in the first 30 minutes, I would bring Beauden back in at 10, McKenzie at 15 and Jordon in the wing. Bring ALB into the centre. This should strengthen the backline significantly. Will Razor consider this? I doubt it.
Siya didn't fracture his face. Sam Cane did.
Prepare for more fractures ABs by 30

Let’s hope it’s as good as last weekend.
Although I am desperately hoping for a SA win, i feel like these 2 teams are too close to each other for Nz not to win a game out of the last 4. To be fair, it should have been last weekend but they did not take it. From a saffa point of view, we were quite poor so also positive that we can be better
They missed their 1 out of 4 opportunity last week , now we getting 4 of 4 💪
Does the ABs bench match up with the Boks bench? I dont think so. Theres a huge difference between the benches. Still will be a good game to watch
How you feeling about this one Mark? Nervous? Im bloody nervous. I think Beauden coming off the bench for the ABs is a game changer. But im happy with Rassies selection, we can definately get it done, but its by no means guranteed
I love Beauden off the bench too, even though he’s good enough to start, he’s the energy they need from the bench.
Someone please coach Sam Cain how to tackle? Man's playing Rugby a the higfhest level and still cant seem to figure out how to run into contact without putting other players in the hospital. Surely its a massive risk to run that player given that he seems to be a yellow/red card magnet.
Like Sias tackle on Ardie in the RWC G.F and got no card for it? 😅😅😅
@donnybrascocoliogne819 I love how NZ fans are only aware of the protocols when it suits the narrative. The protocols around high tackles is crystal clear.
Correct technique until ball carrier dips. Grey area.
I’m 54 years old and seeing 4 in a row and 6 from 8 is unheard of. It simply cannot happen. If it did … even I’d be concerned for the great AB brand. All blacks must be favorite on that basis alone

Love the way you glided over the Cane offense.
A broken cheekbone and it's," the ref looked at it but decded it was kinda a , glancing blow"? It was the worst offense of the match, especially with Cane's history of high tackles
Oh boo hoo. Dangerous tackles against the ABs from the Boks as well. Selective bias on full display here.
@@icefarrow7959 yes, you excel in that department. You're not bad at projection either.
That's just what they said, I didn't even mention the refs not even reviewing the Bongi try 😂 And yeah I've seen now - apparently it's his nose rather than his cheekbone, which might actually fit with what the refs saw
@@TwoCentsRugby so no review and no penalty, not to mention a yellow card for a broken nose or even just a black eye, resulting from a high tackle?
What's funny about not saying anything about the Bongi try, and it not being reviewed, considering the Kiwi outrage and certainty that it wasn't a try?
