George I enjoyed this video a lot! I'm analysing BUX in Berlin and I've been hoping that you would make a Human Mobility Score video here 🤗 about the double decker bike parkings, I've seen several in private buildings, but also a recently installed public one in Ostkreuz train station. The problem with cycle infrastructure, as you said, is that is very inconsistent, so you have the example of Karl Marx Alle with amazingly wide cycle lanes and then you get zones like the Hackescher Markt where going with a bike is a nightmare. Hopefully it will keep improving!
Double decker bike parking racks are pretty common in the UK. Even my local station in a Midlands market town got a couple a few years ago when it was refurbished.
This video didn't really go into the city outside the S-Bahn Ring, where there are big areas where public transit isn't easily accesible. Berlin is still a great city transit wise, don't get me wrong, but people tend to forget that some parts of the city are worse than others in terms of mobility
My experience cycling in Berlin was more 2/5. Most of the bike lanes are a mess and of low quality. And let's see what becomes of Friedrichstraße with the new Berlin government.
Yeah - Berlin is great. Greetings from Poland

Wow, I remember seeing Berlin a number of years ago. It was pretty decent, but looks nothing short of exceptional now.

As a Berliner, I would say, too much points, but thanks.
