I love a deep rose color, also terracotta, orange aesthetic with hints of sky blue-- whatever that is. Beige is cute too but having everything just one shade or color can be surprisingly overwhelming if not boring. I think it's cool for people to access certain parts of their personality through color choices. There are days i feel completely mauve and warm to give off maturity, while other days i want to express myself through baby blues and pure whites. Other days i feel so brown and "muted" when i want to recede into the background more. Colors are interesting and evoke different things, i think being completely "earthy" in beige isnt a truth of life but can be used as a limitation under the pretense youre trying to "simplify" your look.
Adore beige, and wearing/seeing neutrals literally helps me to think more clearly 😂 I’ve always found neutrals give me a sense of peace, clarity and spaciousness. I actually find sudden bursts of colour very distracting.
I loved monochrome outfits before the trend, during it and I will continue to love them even after the trend. And i hate, that it's such a trend right now
There was a time when this color was worn mainly by elderly people and young people considered this color boring, especially when combined with brown. And now, all of a sudden, everybody is wearing it to death.
I always hated beige and brown since childhood and it still does. I have a hugr wardrobe (140 dresses hung up in my closet) and nothing in my wardrobe is brown or beige. I have every other color, just not those 2.
Coming from Northern Europe, where people have dressed like this since I was little in the early 90s, it is weird seeing Westerners, who wore Supreme jackets 8 years ago, now dress minimalist.
My homes Color’s are royal purple, grey and white. It looks chic and stylish. In my wardrobe my main Color’s are lavender, navy and light beige/cream/white. 💜
I find it’s all the “trend ”because there are too many influencers with no ideas of their own so they copy one another. So often one will post something and then 50 more will suddenly appear with basically the same topic. It’s getting boring. I have found myself unsubscribing from more and more because of this.
Exactly, I completely agree. Then they pretended to wear those beige clothes and dress up to work from home ion their laptop, they use each other vocabulary too. I unsubscribed from all of them, how many capsule wardrobe of being clothes we can see.
Let’s be real, it takes more style acumen to combine color with neutrals well than only neutrals! I love neutrals but it becomes one note when that’s all there is. Look at the racks behind a lot of these influencers- all beige!
I love color, especially blues, greens, and burnt oranges. When I wear neutrals, I always add a big splash of color. (All of these colors are found in nature, BTW!)
Im brown and wearing a lot of brown shades together, makes me look terrible. I dont love a ton of bright colors either, so I'm careful of the colors I wear, I know what looks good on my skin tone. Gray also looks terrible on me and it's very trendy, luckily the jewel tones & even muted jewel tones look great on me. White, cream & black. You have to "Know Thyself" as the saying goes, and not mindlessly go along with trends.
Exactly!! We all should be aware of our features and learn to work with them, it's the right way to reflect our beauty! Thanks for sharing your own experience by the way, it's precious.
I think I'm just really weird. I've always loved Kate Middleton's style even before I liked her as a person (from what I've seen at least) and when I "discovered" the cream and beige looks I really felt like I found something that spoke to me. Although I guess that was before it became a thing people were doing, but I just find cream and beige to feel really peaceful and smoothing and calms me in a choatic world. I guess I've never had a tik tok so maybe that's why I haven't felt the overload people talk about, but I love it. I tend to go for that kind of look when I just need to relax and feel relaxed.
I was alrrady sick of my colorful outfits full of flowers and colors. Last month I started to collect beige and earthy items and I am so happy of that. My husband said that I look now so elegant and fashionable.
I find it so strange that earth tones are associated with wealth and luxury, but I guess everyone has different experiences. Until I was 13 we lived in social housing because my family was poor. Everything in that house that we weren't allowed to change was brown, white or beige. I especially remember these colors in the bathroom and wondering often as a kid why anyone would want to paint a room that's all about hygiene poopy colors. So I grew up associating these colors with poverty and restriction.
I love the neutrals and always did. They are classic - just trending at the moment. I never took part in colour even when it was big and I don't think I'll ever get tired of beige, taupe, grey and white.
When everything is beige, beige is ugly. Beige is nice when it is not everyday, because it offers a soft creamy color pallet. That feeling turns into a cardboard box if you are surrounded by it
Thank god i am unable to wear beige simply due to early graying hair. Beige washes my skin tone out horribly and gives off grandma vibes. I am a millennial, by the way..
There's a theory on why "neutral" toned homes have been trendy for decades now and it blames the violently colored advertising we're subjected to on a daily basis. Thoughts?
I have a closet full of colors! Black is my timeless go to. I rarely wear beige.
I was a child in the 70s! Love the calm aesthetics of earthy colors after having grown up in a clash of orange and green.
So fed up of these cookie cutter influencers. All looking the same. Dull.
I love earthy colors!
Just remember, fashion is what you buy, style is what you already have.

I am with you. Where are colors. I am so tired of seeing this color

50 Shades of Beige was basically Shiv's color pallete.

Exactly! I want to see creativity, not different versions of the same thing over and over again!

I’m tired of the boring expressionless clothes, the monochrome grey/beige/white interiors. Will be steering clear of this trend.
Beige is never go wrong!

it's so basic it hurts. it's definetly the ''starbucks'' aesthetic obsession.Everything coffee coloured. *cringes*

the idea is balance, maybe a beige top with blue jeans so it doesn't become dull. orblack jeans.

I can’t stand this icky trend. No Beige please, oh my god we need y2K back!!!! 😂🤣💗🤷🏼♀️💯

Algorithm must be broke i was wondering about beige buildings. But beige clothes or nude is legit!!
I never liked beige my entire life until this past year when I became obsessed. I guess I’m the opposite?

it became trends because they wear the same colors and style.
I stop wearing White when I have my fist child, white dont look well with chocolate finger.
because they want their homes to look like a coffee shop 🥴

some pieces are ok but everything beige?nope.
