Testing out the Stix Play, a complete set for beginner golfers. This direct to consumer golf brand makes slick looking clubs, and has a fun social media presence, but how do they hit?
You look like a taller guy. I’m new to golf….currently using a regular set of clubs. I’m 6’4 and feel like I top the ball a lot. My buddies say I just need to get better. I’m curious do you use longer sized clubs? If so how tall are you and do you use regular, .5+ or 1+?
Hey Brayden, I'm 6'3". These are regular length clubs, and most of the clubs I test are regular length because that's mostly what I've played in the past. But I recently got fitted for custom clubs from PXG and those were lengthened by half an inch. Topping the ball is a common problem regardless of height though. My son, who started playing this year, does it a lot. Getting fitted for clubs is always smart, but it won't necessarily fix an issue with topping. I hope that helps!

It depends on your wrist to floor measurement. Go to dicks sporting goods and the employee will measure you for free. And I did that and emailed stix. They recommended me +.5 and I'm 6'1. If u happen to be +1 I think you might be lucky and ask if they still have any +1 sets from last year as they use to carry them
@@1013handam the driver shaft is "regular," and that's the only option if you buy the complete Play set. If you get the Player Set, or buy the drivers individually, you can choose the stiffness of the shafts.
