i’m asking because i loved skate 3 and i’ve been trying to find a game like it and when i heard that riders republic brought in skateboards, it made me wanna buy rr just for the skating
yessir you can roam anywhere - although the whole map is quite shitty for skating. as in: there aren't many spots at all to 'street' skate. there are two big park areas that have endless obstacles and spots where you'd typically skate in free roam. Other than that, it's just searching for skateable spots here and there - that's why finding the line in this video is cool. Alternatively to skateboarding, you can literally free roam the entire map with bmx (even on snow with a special bmx). bmx is by far the best imo. Skating is dope but after some time you can get bored due to limited board control (tricks) compared to skate 3 / you can't roam the entire map like with bmx. finding the rare 'street' spots is the fun creative part for me. they should add more spots eventually but they're slow with it
