Your tutorials are outstanding!! You did an outstanding job showing how to avoid sticky apples. Youre my go to expert for candy apples. Thank you so much for being so thorough and anticipating questions..
Hello, Any advice for me? I make candied sliced apples and pineapples, same day before I can get them delivered they start melting or juicing. The fruit combined with the candy combines and starts making a juice. I froze them prior to. I dip them, they look good, I had them, they look good, 30min-1hr later I have a bag full of juice. 😩 Thanks in advance if you have any advice!
I believe I have a lot of videos applying the bow on the candy apple stick. I will have one tomorrow. Right now this is only the #shorts ua-cam.com/video/t4u7Obxr-9s/v-deo.html Basically you just put some hot glue on the back of the bow and stick it on the candy apple stick. You can use twist ties as well. But I will show you in my next video.
No need to apologize you just didn't know. Thank you so much for subscribing. My next candy apple tutorial will show that. That will be loaded up later on today.
Either 2 things. They are too warm. They need to be 65 degrees or cooler. Put them in the refrigerator if this is the case. Or you didn’t get the wax completely off. I hope this helps you.💕
Hello Keysha. Humidity and/or heat played a major role with your candy apples melting. Did you have them sitting out or in the refrigerator? Do you live in a hot or humid city/state?
Yes, please put them in the refrigerator. Don't leave your candy apples out, especially in the hot summer months. I never leave my candy apples out overnight. I always place mine in the refrigerator overnight.
So you had aloy to say about 6 days. There was lots of infor in this video. 2 days max you think in fridge. ? I don't have time to do day of ,I have a 3 year old.
They will last longer for months in the refrigerator, but if you are going to sell them I wouldn’t go past 2 days. You want your candy apples as fresh as they can be. I hope this helps you.💕
I've never re-dipped my apples. I would just rinse all the candy off and dry them down good and just start over since you're cooking candy again. This way you know they will look good.
If that's a chance you want to take, because you might experience a little breakdown in your candy apples although they will be in the refrigerator. Try 2-3 days in advance instead of a week. Now I have had a few candy apples sitting in the refrigerator to see what will happen. Sometimes they maintain perfect and sometimes there's a little breakdown. This is a good question, so I am going to post this question to see what people say.💕
@@GymnastSummerLevell_2027 yes they can hold up well in the refrigerator. In the refrigerator sometimes they won't even get sticky either for a long time and sometimes they will get a little sticky but not nothing severe unless they are not bagged.

Where can I get big enough bags every bag I buy just not wide enough I have to end up cutting bag open and then wrapping them lol alot of work. Thanks
You must dip huge apples. Amazon or any craft store like Hobby Lobby.
You can go on Amazon, but if you need them ASAP go get the bigger cellphone treat bags from Hobby Lobby or Michael’s. I hope this helps you.💕
I have a question...so, mine breaks down overnight. What am I doing wrong?!

Hi I made some orange candy apples with chef master white and sun orange but I didn’t have any bubbles but it melted after 2 days
Hello Keysha. Humidity and/or heat played a major role with your candy apples melting. Did you have them sitting out or in the refrigerator? Do you live in a hot or humid city/state?
Louisiana
I’m going to practice the color again with Wilton and hobby lobby. I will put them in the refrigerator this time .
I figured you were in a hot state.
Yes, please put them in the refrigerator. Don't leave your candy apples out, especially in the hot summer months. I never leave my candy apples out overnight. I always place mine in the refrigerator overnight.
would the apples go bad or the candy will be soft for a period of 2 weeks?
Please let me know.😮
No. As long as you only allow your apples to be in the cleaning method six seconds your apples will maintain crisp.
Make sure you refrigerate them for that long.

Can you redip apples if the break down occurs
I've never re-dipped my apples. I would just rinse all the candy off and dry them down good and just start over since you're cooking candy again. This way you know they will look good.
@@DIYQUEENDIVA thank you so much for the reply 😊
You're so welcome.
How do you rinse the candy off?
Put the apples under your kitchen faucet running water and let hot water run on them until the candy comes off.
Have you ever shipped candy apples to a different state? If so can you do a video on shipping candy apples ❤
I actually have a video here: ua-cam.com/video/jMLlW8AWj7k/v-deo.html
@@DIYQUEENDIVA thank you so much I’m going to watch right now ☺️

Love watching your videos and learning all of the tips. So interesting how much the bags tied up help.
Thank you so much, I'm glad you love learning from me and my tutorials.
Can I make my apples a week in advance

Hello, How far in advance can you boil your apples?
Don’t boil too long because you don’t want them mushy. Boil for only 6 seconds. 4 days is a good amount of time to make in advance.💕
I had a client tell me her apple lasted 4 weeks in the refrigerator
That's very possible.
@@DIYQUEENDIVA she sent a picture. We were both amazed. I totally cover the apple so that no air gets in
