i'm currently learning this masayoshi takanaka's song on guitar, and this helps me a lot! i have the guitar tab but seeing how it's really played helped so much! thank you for making this cover!
@@Ready4Whatever Thank you. There is no secret with my playing. Just try to keep rhythm in tempo, keep the pitch in tune (especially when bend-up). Sometimes I use slide instead of bending the tone. And sometimes I skip to pick the tone, just sliding. In the middle of the song, I tried to improvise my solo. I use the Bogner ecstasy blue channel amp simulator on ZOOM G6, with delay and chorus effects. If you want to know more, don't hesitate to ask me :-)
@@nanta335 I'd love to know more! Totally love the tone, been meaning to find a way to achieve a similar, beautiful, sharp tone on my Zoom G1 Four and my Peavey amp. Can you tell me more about your patch, please?
@@piotr156 I use G6 but basically their patch may work almost the same. Here's my setting with G6 including cabinet simulation. Martin Ahumada Thank you for your comment. Maybe I used D minor scale, D harmonic minor scale, and I also tried to follow the chord tone along the song. Does this make sense?
@@nanta335 thanks so much! I have a zoom g1x, so I should be able to achieve a similar tone hopefully. I’ve become addicted to Takanaka so this is awesome

On god I’d cash app you 50 dollars if you’d do masayoshi takanaka tutorials on how to play his songs
Thanks for your comment :-) Maybe my play is different from the original tune ^^;
@@nanta335 no it’s accurate I just want to know how to play it. But if you end up doing a tutorial video it would be greatly appreciated

Amazing cover and solo! I don´t know a lot of guitar improvisation so I wanted to ask, what scales are you using for the solo? Thanks in advance!
