- Whats up guys in todays video im showing you how to install a torque damn on a vq35de g35, 350z, 350gt or fx35.
This is an Ebay kit but is an exact copy of the stillen kit so this install will be the same.

I have a torque damper similar to this one. Great vid and it really does help !
I put this kit on my old car a 98 nissan sentra. And I can tell you that since the motor doesn't shake as much it has better acceleration better braking and smoother shift. Definitely more steering wheel shaking but that has to do with the fact the dampener is made of hard composite rubber inside and it doesn't give as much. I was considering replacing the internals with an actual compression spring that would eliminate the steering wheel shakes. but I can't figure out what size diameter spring will fit inside. I since sold the car. but this definitely works and please keep in mind the engine will move with the frame now. I had a few issues of the motor hitting the strut brace after my install on the old 98 sentra.
that's a plus on launches and down shifts u barely feel shifts aswell

The bolt snapped and a piece is stuck in my timing cover a year later.. don't get it.

Like the mod, but the motor rocks back and forth. Isn't your damper mounted in the wrong direction? Didn't do any home work on this. Just an observation on my part. Thumbs 👍bro.
I looked up a few forums and this is actually how the stillen kit is installed. motor usually rocks to the passenger side of the car.

I did some donuts in my G sedan, and I lost some power steering in the process. I re filled the fluid back to normal and it still hasn't went back to normal, and I have seen 0 leaks. Any idea what could be the issue?

Do new donuts the opposite way on the ones that caused the problem, that should fix it.

What is that Black container with the red hoses coming out of it.
Matthew Benton it’s called an oil catch can, just catches excess oil that slips out of the engine. It helps not gunk up the engine.
Yeah that's an oil catch can well worth it on these motors

although you need to know what to look for I'm a big fan of eBay. check out racing line performance and stillen if your looking for a good exhaust

anyone else having missfire problems due to the ground being moved ?
Bracken Mchugh misfires at due to coils not a ground
You can take sand paper or a wire brush wheel to clean the new contact point and it will help get a better ground for that spot
Bracken Mchugh i bought an grounding kit it helps in case u think thats the issue. Super easy to install and it helps with all tye electrical wiring in your car. G35 are known for weak ground connections.
