Just a little show of appreciation for this video. The tip of assigning ISO to the back wheel is brilliant. I just know I am going to find that very useful. - Mick Thompson - Seattle, Washington
Hi Marc I have only just discovered your channel and it is already near the top off the list i am following,. i have moved over from Cannon after more than 40 years of use . I have an OM1 and enjoy using it but have to work hard changing to a more logical system. I enjoy the fact you concentrate on helping those of us that received our latest camera days before it was updated. Most sites moved on the same day and forgot us, thank again for you excellent content and I will work my way through the Scotish Islands and compare the wildlife withwhat we enjoy here in Brittany.
Ah thank you so much for the kind words! Yes it can take a while to master, but once you do it can become 2nd nature. Great stuff - are you from Brittany yourself? My mum's french so I've spent many a summer in France!
Very helpful. Very organized. Easy to follow and implement into the settings on my om-1. Do you have additions or changes that might relate to OM System OM-1 Mark II?
Great stuff, I'm glad you found it useful Allen. I've been testing the OM1 mk2 for the last few weeks, and as far as I can tell, the same settings apply - the only real difference would be how you choose to use the Live Graduated ND Filter.
@@JanetRoxborough thanks very much Janet - glad it was useful 😊 you're in luck, the video settings tutorial was posted last night: ua-cam.com/video/8VzSwSGvdLs/v-deo.html
If I have M-Mode with auto iso I can choose the aperture (usually open) and the shutter speed adapted to the subjekt, then the iso is as low as possible. And this means you react more quickly to changes in light.
Great video ! Changed form full frame to Om/Olympus for wildlife never regret it. The Om is a beast of a camera!🎉
Thank you! I agree with you

Noise reduction is only relevant to long exposure times where the sensor can heat up significantly.
Ah thank you for the clarification!
That was very helpful, thanks. I would love to see a video session!
