I see all these negative comments and they make me laugh! If you don't see what is happening and think this is a waste of time and money, you will never get it! Most of these people are successful in life...they're successful because they don't give up, they take a challenge head on, and work extremely hard to just get to the event....let alone drive it and go back home! Some of these buggy's cost more than houses and super cars, they go beat the hell out of them and go back to work Monday morning....you will never make it if you don't take that leap into the unknown!
+HIGH OCTANE FILMS No, I agree with him. Without at least the possibility of accomplishment (a winner), it's boring as hell. Anybody can build a hill that cannot be climbed. The designers should prove the hill can be climbed by doing so themselves.

Do believe only way to climb that will be with stickies and rear steer turned full lock into a corner. The rest of the hill seems fine for the capability of the machines. Maybe even run steel shot in front tires to keep front in momentum forward and not straight up in the air.
So there were a couple guys that made it but for some reason both of those were not shown. We only got to see after they had just got over the top. That's kind of stupid.

No worries, I edited that video hours after the event and I had been up for a few days and it definitely wasn't my best work, I can see how it can be confusing, I apologize for that, I have much better videos than this one.
this guy said "air down for what?" what do you think? what kind of off road do you partake in? out here in the desert/dunes on the west side we air down for floatation/traction. if these guys aired down to 15-18 psi...they might make it:)
All you need is 54" tires on a stretch limo. This is pretty boring stuff, I fast forwarded through most of it. Cool looking rigs though. Log and concrete slab obstacles are usually a let down compared to rocks entertainment wise.
+MoabMan They really needed a 200 foot jump over a pit of flaming jet fuel filled with angry sharks. Its fun when the obstacles are possible but not so much when they're just poor.
think your better off studding your tires with the cleats they put in the bottom of cork boots that loggers wear if your climbing logs instead of rocks.
I'd be pretty pissed if I went to all the hassle and expense of competing at this event, only to find that the first obstacle was virtually impossible. What a huge waste of time and money. Other than the guy who won, how do you even rank the rest of the competitors when none of them cleared anything?
This doesn't seem fun at all. Flipping and wrecking trucks at the first obstacle? Make a course that goes up and down and at the end should be the toughest spot. 80% should make the course and be timed.
+hwally777 Supply and demand, genius!! These damn vehicles can climb most anything. They have to keep making, supplying, tougher and tougher challenges to keep it interesting. The drivers demand tougher events. Even so, like most activities, it's a repetitive boring spectator sport unless you are a part of it somehow. You see one beat the challenge, you've seen them all really.

Rigs are way too heavy for that stuff. Would need 2000hp to propel tanks up those inclines. Hats off for trying them. Looks fun.

Park manger designed the course this has been climbed now and they paid out over 15k at the last event
