Samantha has always been a misunderstood and overhated character in the Cobra Kai to the point that it was toxic when it spread to her actress. I appreciate that she's no Mary sue and is obviously not a perfect person who does make mistakes that I don't always agree with but while she inherited her father's flaws, she never really bother me compared to Tory who constantly crossed the line morally such as breaking and entering and relentlessly trying to kill Sam with weapons (being the main reason Sam had PTSD and panic attacks). I also believe Mary Mouser is doing a fine job making Sam feel like a real person.
I like Sam. People seem to forget, her life was pretty normal before Cobra Kai. Within six months, she watched her first boyfriend become a douche. Her second boyfriend get drunk and accidently hit her. then getting a third boyfriend that later crippled her second ex while getting slashed by Tori for a drunken mistake. Also it is a kind of weird for hating a Teenage Girl over mistakes and conflicting emotions.
Couldn't have said it better myself. People seem to forget that Miguel also was the one constantly pursuing Sam throughout Season 2, and they also seem to neglect that Miguel ALSO cheated on Tory. It wasn't just Sam cheating on Robby.

Sam is my favorite of the kids. I cant imagine the fear of being attacked everywhere. Even your own home. Then she gets cheated out of the All Valley. I hope she wins the All Valley or Sekai Tai. And please no cringy inner monologue like that hyperbolic chamber.
I’m hoping that in Season 5, we saw the beginning of Sam starting to see things in other peoples’ shoes. What Stingray went through was worse than what Sam went through in Season 2 (she had PTSD in Season 3 as a result), so I was disappointed when Sam was judging Stingray and assuming he just wanted to keep the apartment and fancy stuff.
Honestly me too. Granted Silver is *way* worse than Tory but what Stingray is going through was nearly identical to what she went through back in season 3. Granted she was still pissed about the tournament being rigged and spiraling out of control due to the weight of feeling guilty over the loss but she could've at least been more sympathetic to Stingray. Not saying that she shouldn't still be a little mad at him (after all he did tell Silver what Daniel intended to do, which led to the apartment fight that got him beaten up by Silver) but at least be a little bit empathetic to his struggles.
STRYFE THE WARRIOR: I am hoping that she continues her growth in S6. While I don't necessarily believe that she & Tory will ever be friends with each other as it just wouldn't make sense given how different they are as people (at least right now, but maybe in a spin off with them as adults that seems more likely), I do believe that they will forgive each other & learn to rely & work more together as a team & respect & understand each other. I think that it will take time but both Sam & Tory will be able to move on from their past history with each other & apologize and learn from each other: With Tory learning that just because Sam has a better life then she does, it doesn't mean that she doesn't have struggles of her own: As Johnny said "just because a person lives in a nice house it doesn't mean that nice things are going on inside" and Sam will learn from Tory to be knowledgeable about somebody else's own struggles & why they act the way that they do & that not everyone has it as good as she does and that she's very lucky to have the family that she does and be more appreciative and grateful especially towards her parents. While their rivalry won't be the same as it was, I do believe that it will instead be more competitive instead of deadly and with a lot more respect & understand & thinking of each other as more of equals & a worthy opponent in each other's lives & not arch enemies anymore.
I think the sparring Tory and Sam do, will be to decide who gets the 🏆. I want to like Sam, so I'm pulling for her to grow as a person. I do like Sam 70% of the time. It's just when something's you mentioned happen I don't. 🤞 Here's hoping🤞.

As much as I like for Tory to win, I think the most logical thing would be to have Sam win cause not only will that redeem her All-Valley loss (she technically didn't lose, but the tournament was rigged), so her winning would not only redeem herself in her own eyes but she would be able to get out of her father's shadow since that bothered her so much in season 4.
Its funny how people keep thinking the worst of sam and if speculating she going to cheat on miguel like we haven't seen her been in love with miguel for 5 seasons. Moon is like the most innocent,supportive and nicest character in the show so i dont know why you would consider her even not a good friend lol.
