I always find it interesting that people say episode 10 was the saddest one. It was definitely very sad, but for me it didn’t hit me as bad as the episode with the dad who lost his wife and daughter, that one was a different type of sad
even sadder considering this was KyoAni's recent project before that arson attack 2 years ago :(

This anime is in my top ten and I can relate to not being able to experience emotion a lot. Did KyoAni recover alright?

As much as I love watching Lupasan, I can say that I'm kinda glad he's sitting this one out. I feel he wouldn't enjoy it as much, and it would make it harder for the others to as well.

Amazing this series, starts a little slow but is still so beautiful
I mean, even with that being the case, they clearly are invested in the story already. So I can only imagine how much more invested they are going to get as this continues. I look forward to crying like a baby thru this series again!

Aw, fuck. I forgot how much this series makes me cry. Didn't expect to tear up just with the end scene of the first episode... don't remember doing that the first time around so it must be a rewatch sort of thing.
Looking forward to seeing the reactions to some of the future episodes, because some of them are some real heart string tuggers!
