In case anyone's wondering, Mel finally takes a drink at 8:41 🤣
*spoiler alert*
Love it! The anticipation... To the lips.. nope.. almost there... nope... Connection! Finally!
I love this channel. Not only has it provided me great model/hobby content to emulate, but it really get me through the hard times of Covid isolation and beyond. I really enjoy the passion and humanity that you convey, Mel. Thank you for what you do.
E. Gary Gygax was the creator of the original Dungeons and Dragons game. His son Luke Gygax is still active in the RPG community.
Made, don't worry if you've done something before... anything you do inspires us,!
Very much looking forward to Mel’s wisdom on the teddy bear fur. I have done a couple of mats with it but sure there is much more to learn. I followed tips from Barry Hilton on his League of Augsburg blog. He has had a couple of goes at it. The latest one had a top tip about applying paint by hand - literally by hand - you’ll love the messy-ness option! 😂 I think a key thing is to not get things too wet and to comb the cr@p out of it. An obvious point I suppose is lighter fur takes colour better, and there are two tone fur material options available (bit more expensive) that add a bit of extra wow factor.
Good to see you Mel! Thank you for the content.
Early Guy Fawkes? A tidy workshop is good for mental health or something... don't know. Mine is a mess. Cheers, Mel.
Good to see you again.
If i were in the same country I’d definitely give you a visit on the open studio day!
Glad to see you back at it, seeing you working again has helped motivate my to get back into terrain making! Can’t wait to see your projects!
Id love to see some more fantasy builds from you if you ever get the bug for it.
I've been thinking of how to do a garden of nurgle terrain and bases, as sort of Avatar Pandora meets Hieronymus Bosch with Blood swamps and human trees that bleed. Beautiful on the surface but gets stranger and odder the closer you get. It's something different to try.
Hi Mel, I wish you a fiery Guy Fawkes Night! 🔥🎆
My, my! That is tidy!
Good luck for the open day, Mel!
Thanks
Make sure the bear is dead first!
i.e. Don't use old fur, as it may contain mites, bugs, or spores!
First. Keep it coming Mel. Hi From Canada
That was weird - just as you said "that's a firework!" someone started setting them off near me!
"I'm pretty sure Gygax is quite famous in the D&D world."
Rings a vague bell. Not that you'd ever know it to hear the current owners of the IP talk.
Hi Mel, quick question from one of your older videos. You showed us where to get hold of bulk bags of static grass, is there somewhere similar you go to for big bags of flock & reindeer moss?
Wow is this Mel stuff all clean? Glad you still working.
The Tome looks great, but there's a typo on the cover - Messrs, NOT Messers!
🤔
Unless that's a deliberate pun, in which case, ignore this comment.
The leather bound and gold leaf part is a joke right? It wasn't exactly clear there.
