One of the best little videos I've seen on beautiful Paris, gorgeous hotel here as well. Staying at a hotel like this, it's a wonder anyone would want to leave the room and see Paris, so well appointed, super comfortable looking with yummy French food!! Mon dieu, I miss Paris like crazy! When I pass on I'm booking an angel flight right there! "All good Americans go to Paris when they die!".....the late great Oscar Wilde. The most gorgeous city ever next to Rome, imho and when I was there so clean one could eat off of the streets! The City of Light sparkles at night like a glass of champagne!! So many scenes remind me of being there... Of course, this isn't like being there, but it's the next best thing!! Merci beaucoup! Je T'aime Paris!! Shared this on FB!!

I traveled to Paris for the first time in 2019. I will go back after we have a cure for COVID. Words can’t describe how classy and beautiful this city or country really delivers to the heart and soul. We stayed at a very nice rental apartment but the next time we go to France we will stay at one of your hotels. Thank you for sharing your elegant style with us clods. ;-)
Heard about it but not sure so had to look it up - clods: a lump of something, lumps of earth or clay AHAHAHA thanks so much for making me laugh I really needed that (now a days). Also thanks for saying I am elegant that's so sweet. Best wishes on your next trip to France...fingers crossed :)
AHHH Paris the most beautiful city in the universe. Rain or shine. My fav times early morning with a lite drizzle of rain.And late at nite with the lites which create a magical look of everything. A wonderful tour of Paris! Some of my favorite bits include the Galeries dome and the Eiffel Tower spotlight cutting the clouds, but you already had me at the chocolate!

Thanks for this video. I like the way that you focus on every little detail of your trip. I feel like I've traveled to Paris myself and stayed at this fabulous hotel! I wish that you had a video of you going from the front desk to the elevators and up to your suite. Then my fantasy of staying at George V myself would be complete! :)

Paris does not look like any place I want to go. To me it looks like a congested ghetto.
I worked and lived in large cities most of my life, I am so sick of dirty, congested, loud, cities.

It is 50 years since I first visited Paris with a friend. We stayed in a youth hostel by Notre Dame.Later I visited as a hitch hiker and slept on the Left Bank. I did go into the hotel once to have a pee. In later years my sister was a director of the company which owned the Georges V so although never staying there I did have the chance to cook for the then financial director at my own home in the UK. The Georges V was eventually sold off so I have no connections with it now.
What great fun you've had visiting Paris, not to mention a very unique connection with George V hotel. Did you mean you cooked for the then director of finance or was it your sister? Either way, I'm impressed, you must be a fantastic cook. Last I checked, George V is owned by Bill Gates and the Prince of Saudi Arabia - or is it still? My sis was Director of HR for Trust House Forte who owned it at the time. I was a simple teacher. She asked if she and her husband could come and stay the weekend with a friend and her husband quite late in the day. I had no idea who was coming so just cooked a meal. I think it was skate . roast lamb and bread and butter pudding. Whatever I could find at the local Coop. The visitors came with wine from their own vineyard. On opening it was corked. Myself and my B in law went through my very small cave and decided what might be similar. In the end , as we had already drunk quite a bit they did not recognise that the decanted wine was not their own.

May I suggest for next time to include in your visit a few museums or small hidden gardens. Regarding the topic at hand, your niece can check out several job search websites for careers with traveling in fields such as marketing, consulting, sales, etc. - even architecture, engineering, and more. Wishing her best of luck in finding ones she's most suited and qualified for.
Also, to that end, your niece might be interested in an entirely different scenario. My good friend's favorite aunt - who upon college graduation has married her college sweetheart (to this day) and decided to be a stay-at-home mom to their two kids - happens to possess such flair in real estate and stock investments (by way of her husband's income) that as a recent empty nester she's able to afford extensive traveling while working part time.
