  • First look at alternative configurations of SIG P320 X-grips including small and large circumference grips. Your guess is as good as mine as to if or when you might see these in the commercial marketplace.

    I have the Med size grip in this, but I'm having issues finding magazines for it. I have .40 S&W in this P250, the 14rd magazine is too short.

    What is the difference between the normal 320 medium grip vs the x5 medium grip. I noticed that the medium 320 seems a bit rounder and the x5 is more straight and less bulky. Your thoughts?

    i have to say as much as i like the new look of the xseries grip modules. i have n xfive n p320m17. the xfive is nice and fairly new, but it actually kinds hurts my hand. even tho i have bigger hands i think i would like the small xgrip. the original p320 grip is so nice n comfortable, it doesnt look as pleasant as the Xgrips. but i love it id like to get a large in the original grip. i think that would be perfect. whats your opinion alma? im curious if which you prefer? well everyones opinion would be nice. thx

    Wow! You get all the cool toys! Ive read several places you do the custom stipple work for the Sig team, do you offer this as a service or have any x-carry modules you have stippled for sale?

    I searched online for the small x-carry grip...to no avail. Am I so lame or they do not exist in retail? Any suggestions?

    Small and Large _are_ available. Sig also has some hand stippled medium frames on sale at the time of this posting.

    The slide on my sub-compact p320 is 6 1/8" long... Will this sslide work on a compact grip module? Thanks...

    I just bought a sig x5 legion for optics division. I like the tungsten infused grip, but it's just feels so bulky in my hand. So, I ordered the small grips. Do you think there will be a vast difference in recoil between the two grips?

    • @AlmaCole
      @AlmaCole  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, unfortunately. You could shave down the tungsten one quite a bit.

  • @cwolff5119
    @cwolff5119 2 роки тому +1

    SIG needs to put together a configurator that tells you what options and grip frames fit together.
    Included with that is some wsy to figure out what fits your hand best. Grip vary by size and by height/capacity. Maybe they need to fasten one of each in a ‘try board’ for gun stores.
    It is very frustrating to try to buy stuff off the SIG web site…

    Can you put an x grip on a regular 320 or just for the x fives?

    • @AlmaCole
      @AlmaCole  5 років тому +1

      It's compatible. The only thing you might have to alter is the wings on the older magazines.

    I'm thinking about purchasing a P320 X compact grip module and place my P320 compact upper 40cal on it as well as a X-Ray front sight.
    I'm thinking that doing so will not be a problem other than doing a little adjustment to my mags...Am I correct in that this will Not be a problem?...

    Alma, can you tell me the differences between the xcarry grip module and the full size xgrip?

    • @AlmaCole
      @AlmaCole  5 років тому +1

      Most obvious is 17 rounds versus 15. Otherwise, I try to cover in the video. Seems to be same width. Front to back on the X Compact is a bit less. Beavertail is more comfortable to me on the X Compact. The Commander cut on the X Compact makes it easier to use conceal but I don't like shooting it as a much (feels like it allows a bit more flip since you can don't have the same leverage on the bottom.

      @@AlmaCole, sorry, I was more interested in the full size vs the carry regarding xgrips. Do you have any insight into the full size xgrip?

    • @AlmaCole
      @AlmaCole  5 років тому +1

      They're the same grip. The Carry is a modified full size. Obviously the X5 version drops in the grip weight, but you can always add a that to the X-Carry

    Why is it my magazine will not fit in the grip when I changed from a medium to a small frame?

    • @AlmaCole

      Is it hitting the "wings" on the magazines or something else? Obviously ensure the takedown safety is out of the way

      Make a video of what your are seeing and share a link to me. I'd be happy to take a look. Also try inserting the magazine with the slide removed so you can see what's happening better.

    Will a p320 sub compact fit in the x?

      Yes, in the X-Compact grip. Not in the X-Carry without modifications being made

    Very interesting, thanks. Can you help me, I just purchased my first gun a full size p320x and I need a HOLSTER, OWB? Brand would be great!

    • @AlmaCole
      @AlmaCole  4 роки тому

      For competition use I'm all about the Red Hill Tactical double layer kydex holsters. I would have to know intended carry use and position to go on from there for other use cases.

    • @steven3379
      @steven3379 4 роки тому

      Alma Cole well mainly for range/practice, I intend to carry between 3 & 5. Right hand. As it's my first gun I haven't acquired a carry permit yet, thanks again I assume I would need a smaller model for edc.

    • @AlmaCole
      @AlmaCole  4 роки тому +1

      You could start with a basic BladeTech OWB or similar. They have okay passive retention but are still smooth to draw from. If you're doing concealed carry from there then you could find something that keeps a litte closer to the body. For concealed carry I do AIWB now. Good luck!

    I have a medium grip on my X5 and it’s too wide for me. It’s completely turned me off from shooting the pistol. It’s disappointing because it literally feels worse than a Glock.

    • @AlmaCole
      @AlmaCole  5 років тому

      Have you tried any of the old style grips? Otherwise, if you get desperate and wouldn't mind a glue and grit job then I could thin it out significantly.
