Near where I live in Aus there’s a touge-style pass through the hills overlooking all the farmland, and the speed limit on that road is 80-100km/h for whatever reason.
It took him years to get there , trust me lived in mainland Japan for 8 years , he is well known there these days so people mix a bit . Japanese are most likely the coldest people to foreigners on the planet !!! "Look it's the Gaijin again" is usually what he got for many years ... Car meets are dead quiet compared to Australia where I am from. They don't even mingle outside their own little group either so it's not only a racial thing , Japan is socially introverted , you have to really try hard to find someone that may speak a little Engrish and not be all weird lol !
Nothing makes me happier than hearing and seeing Takahashi shred his carbed 86 around Ebisu ! His style is so aggressive and the noise is unreal. Thanks Noriyaro for uploading footage of him drifting !
@@cheesegromit9423 TRD Sakurai himself made the high lift cams in that engine, its got pistons, rods, full balance, full blueprint, lightened everything. It doesn't have crabwalk @ highway speeds power, but It's got plenty power for drifting and you know it!
Japanese car culture is amazing compared to american. If you put anything on a 4 cylinder car you're considered rice. If you don't have a v8 people think your slow. Don't even mention neon or any sort of light mods.
There's a big difference between a proper Japanese tuner with actual meaningful performance upgrades and a "ricer" which just has visual/superficial changes, a loud muffler, and no real meaningful performance upgrades and is actually a slow as hell piece of poop. There's a huge difference. There's a lot of people who misuse or abuse the term "ricer" incorrectly. Even in this video one of the guys calls the other guy with a car with only a loud muffler a "loud exhaust brat." Even they have their own term for this type of thing, lol.
Привет Alexi! Skyline back in the ranks! Good idea with the camera on pedals, often do so in the following video. In Russia, you have a lot of fans will be waiting for the new video. Good luck!
God Japanese people are so passionate. Everytime there's a meet you can see how authentically happy they are. Always laughing and enjoying themselves. Even when shit goes wrong they still laugh at it. It's great.
Love how everyone seems to friendly. You know, no one judging you just because you have done something different to your car. Where I live (which is in Sweden) everyone judges you. Would love to go to Japan and really see all the cars and the meets one day.
Alex your content is so good, the editing is fantastic. I love the mix of drift action, the log of your day to day at Ebisu circuit and going to car meets. Really good work and I look forward to more videos, keep up the good work. Love from England
At last, a video that genuinely makes me happy! Japanese Cars, Japan (of course), great driving from Alexi, that music from the exhaust of the r32! It has been a while, but was worth it!
ove harlem was the guy with the monster evo with 800 horsepower, i read about him in a gatebil magazine. i was shocked about that you know so many guys in norway and you even traveled there and watched gatebil event! a big thanks from a norwegian viking for sharing great videos that brightens my day! :D
Crazy crazy drift at the beginning! Also this is why I want to experience the Japanese car culture! They all were really nice and having fun and loving their cars and each others cars. Something you don't ever see here in the states that much.
Dude, I wish I could live your life, even if only for a month haha... Sorry for spamming you with this question, but how did you get to stay in Japan? As in, how did you manage the visa? If it's not too much of a personal question, I think a lot of us would like if you made a video about that. But it's up to you, of course! :-)
I absolutely love japanese car culture and japanese people in general. They are so welcoming and are truely genuine people. Dream of mine is to live in japan and learn the ways of living there and the culture. Japan is awesome!!!!
more of this vids dude. Honestly watching your drift cams are teachign me how to drift i just love it. Please take out the skyline more and upload more.

i've been watching you for about the entire day. Thanks for making me smile after my grandma died :) your videos really helped me out alot. (sorry for bad english)
Finally a person who uploads drift videos and has subtitles in Spanish very good the channel I loved it and I would like to learn to drift since I have not found videos of how they do it
nniiiice man i love japan so much and hope i can be there in the next years for a month do drift and see some nice cars like this and places! but japan is soo damn far away from germany :( very nice drifting style.
yeah man don´t call me idiot i know i have the nürburgring and i love the track so much i can say i grow up there..its just 56 miles away from me and ever two weeks i´m there in the summer. but ebisu is so sick to drift and on the nürburgring drifting is not allowed ;)
Seriously love your videos! pushes me to finish the 13 off again! ps, the Old man sent me some photos he took of my first drift session and guess who's head is in the first one! haah! The last day of Oran Park... sad times Keep it up dude! Link to a memorial photo haha! : imgur.com/a/3EDtj
This is completely irrelevant to your video, but I could think of no one better to ask... Was watching a Lone Star Drift video where he visited Ebisu and saw a polar bear, or white bear in a cage at the track?! Why are these beasts at a race track lol. Also, your videos are awesome.
+Tom Jones the Tohoku Safari Park and Ebisu Circuit share the same land, so to get to the track you sometimes have to drive past the lion and bear enclosures.
I may be a few years late but this is awesome. Its so coolhow welcoming those dudes with the vans are, it be cool to see more friendly support in the car scene like that
An American friend of mine works in the military and dots around between "golf ball" bases and he told me he doesn't miss America at all. I feel like you'd miss your home but he doesn't.
I always feel bad for the skyline, but if it was not a missile it would probably end up at the wreckers so it's great you actually keep it alive The foot-cam is a great addition imo, really impressed by the footwork and especially the minimal amount of braking Always enjoy your videos, you reminded me of JZX100s which are weirdly unknown/unpopular in western car communities

+Gumber cules I didn't even see your comment! I totally second it. They're always so genuinely happy. I love it.
Bro and I would be your assistant
I'm having way too much fun rewatching these old videos! ❤️😄 the intro 🔥 oh man... good old days
"not really that fast but really cool"
then proceeds to show it doing like 60 mph on Ebisu lmao!
+Skid Kidz haha true
That's only 98km... Which is an average highway speed in Australia lol
+Stephen Jessop on a highway ye. but on ebisu damn thats kinda fast.
the fastest drivers know how to push a car with such little power, that dudes nuts

the one thing I love about Japan car culture is that they appreciate all cars and all styles

If only people could be that nice and welcoming at American car meets 😑
Lol
