I have 3 ADV sets,a couple magnetic socket sets in deep and shallow in 1/4 drive including a pipe plug socket set.All have been good to me.Also have a couple separate sockets in the ADV
Friday finding Matco Friday new tool review
Wish we had a Matco truck. We only have Snap On and Cornwell. Surprised our Cornwell guy still comes by. Most of us just buy beef jerky and soda’s from him.

You can go to Lowe's and buy a 21 inch window washing bucket for washing your car or truck and it's got a guard in the bottom it works out great brother the good work

Good luck getting the painless ones replaced. Several others and me are waiting on replacements for over a year at our shop.
That sucks i would be raising hell. I would tell my rep I wanted a refund difference between those and the pinned ones and make him replace them
thanks for the great video once again!!! i know theres alot of people that agree with you about not liking the maroon tool cases, but i actually love the maroon color. Blue cases always make me think its cornwell. The red cases i associate with snappy. way back in the early 80s, i bought matco screw drivers and torx screw drivers. the torx were a six piece screwdriver set. i still have 5 of the original drivers with the dark maroon handles. unfortunetly, matco hasnt made the maroon handles in probably in 25 years, which is a shame. cheers
I’ve had a broken 14mm 3/8 impact swivel socket for a year and still be warranty due to back order
That sucks bad I would be raising hell with Matco about that. You know good and well they have some in stock if my dealer has them on the truck you know they have them in a warehouse

I've had 3 of the pinless sockets sent to matco in February that have yet to be warranty and sent back. My matco rep is a POS that stopped coming around so I told him he was no longer welcomed at my location. So I tried sending to matco and was told they were backorder until early June. Now it's August and still no sockets. I'll never buy matco again, they have a few good tools but the majority of their reps are trash just like the company.
Wow I have the Matco pinless 18mm but doesn’t have USA on it.
I have the max flex tablet. I love it. It’s the same software as the 3.0 and 4.0. The only thing that pisses me off is the launch version is $1000 cheaper and the updates are $500 cheaper

The maroon is easier to see the sockets in there, wished they were like Orange but like MATCO pinless impacts.
Those Matco pinless swivels are hard to beat.
Trash, i have the gearwrench and they get worn easily. Can’t find anybody to warranty them

Pinless perform awesome but don’t hold up to pneumatic. I’m just outside of Jackson and my Matco dealer has been waiting on 3 pinless sockets I need warrantied for at least 4 months with no definite ETA. I just bought a set of pin-style and went on with life.
Thanks for another good video. I was wondering what type of universal impact socket you like best. Pinless or pined. I have pined ones and was thinking of switching to pinless ones or should I save my money and stay with what I have. Once again, keep up the good videos.
Pinless is good but, they will get floppy after use. But they are a better design still than the pinned ones.
I agree they have no pin but nobody talks about how the c clip loves to pop out which makes the socket fall apart and most local areas have no matco dealer to warranty it looks like you have to mail it in to get your tool fixed that you paid a premium amount for should have stuck with snap on

Those pinless are the nuts. I still have my ancient Proto impacts. I’m too old to make the switch at this point.
And…..ROLL TIDE!!! Maroon is darker than crimson. Has more brown in it. That comes directly from my artist wife.
You can get a window washing bucket which is a long rectangle. They work great.

Loved them back then. Now they suck man. I’m not a tool fan boy. But when it takes 3 months to get my 50$ socket warranted. I have a problem with that

These sockets arent great at all. I recommend snap on or sunex if you are on a budget. They wear and lockup. They have too much slop before it engages

Yeah Matco do blue cases green cases or orange anything besides maroon it would probably sell a lot better nobody likes the maroon:)
