Types of Immune Cells Part 1: Immune Cell Function
Вставка
- Опубліковано 12 чер 2024
- Ok, we are ready to investigate the immune system! So where do we start? Rather than starting on the big objects, like the organs in the lymphatic system, the best way to dive in is to briefly discuss the different types of cells that comprise the immune system, and talk a little bit about what they do. The key to understanding the immune system is knowing what all the different immune cells do as they circulate around in the bloodstream. Later each cell type will get its own tutorial, but we need to do a survey up top for context, and talk about the ways that they can recognize, react, regulate, and remember.

Dave is like when Newton came into 21st century.
Just wanted to come here to say that your physics and calculus videos are saving my life. I love how short and helpful they are. Thank you!
This series is really promising and it is the type of informative content that is desperately needed tight now.
Thanks for your awesome work Dave
Thanks for the video. I always like the little captions on the illustrations (referring to the cell saying, "Are you cool?" 1:44).
Prof. Dave you are the best .
The way you explain different topic is very unique and also your series are elaborated.
Excellent as always, Looking forward to the series. Thank you for the hard work that has gone into this.
Very good idea to start with immune cells. Lucid, effective, informative, useful with the supporting images. Kudos for the hard work done in bringing another good video 👍👍👍
Always good for me to review basic concepts!
Thanks for the video
THis is exactly what I need. I came from a cancer/epigenetic lab as a PhD student to a virology/immunology lab as a postdoc. This is great!
I passed my first year compulsory course not only because of these videos but because they are good self study tools. Thank you professor Dave :)
Another series! Looking forward to this one, too, Professor Dave!
One of the most interesting and intriguing system in our body ! Great video !
Subscribed to you because of your physics videos, but also the timing of this video is perfect bc the immune system is what I’m learning right now in A&P. And, tbh it has me a bit stumped. I hope the rest of this series comes out before my test
You are my favorite Chanel thank you 🙏
These biology videos you've been putting out are fantastic
Great summary of the unit
The best of the best. Thank u so much for this wonderful video. I'm a medtech student and I'm here looking for immunology lecture to fully understand my IS subject.
Nice lecture Sir... Thank you
Thank you Sir.
Keep doing these great things. 😊
Lots of love and respect from Assam, India. 🇮🇳🙏
thanks for all the videos
very nice, thank you
Thanks very much Professor
Thank you for the informational video! You briefly mentioned autoimmune diseases - what part of the system would you think to be the likely cause for a chronic feverish state that has persisted for over 20 years?
👍Signs You Have a Weakened Immune System
Your Stress Level is Sky-High.
You Always Have a Cold.
You Have Lots of Tummy Troubles..
Your Wounds Are Slow to Heal.
You Have Frequent Infections.
You Feel Tired All the Time.
This video was AWESOME and I learned so so much 💯❤❤❤Our immune system is so so so AMAZING 🤗💯❤
thank you
Well explained, big like🤙🤙🤙
thanks
You are the best❤
Professor, please make a bunch of videos about Latin, the ancient noble language because it will be very helpful for learn about history.
Great video my friend 🍃🍃
The medical college students here ought to show this clip to their professors that how to take a class in a standard of class room atmosphere for complicated studies. Welcome Professor DAVE👀
You should do a HESI and ATI TEAS prep series !!! 🥺
I love this 🤗🥰
James Tour making more noise made me watch more Dave's videos. LOL
It should be called "Tour effect", similar to "Streisand effect". I mean, if there is anything James Tour deserves to be famous for, this is it! 👍
@Professor Dave Explains, ahhh, I get a very good vibe from another video and clicked on your name and liked how you introduced yourself and videos. I have a rare disorder called "Stiff Person Syndrome" aka SPS. Cells attacking cells and it's under an autoimmune category. Supposedly, we who have it are 1 in a million, though since I've had it for 30 years, I'm considered "low level" and on Facebook there are several groups, I'd say, yeah, I think it's less then 1 in a million plus SPS takes on an avg. of 5 yrs to get a dx. No cure yet, blah blah blah - though there are doctors who have sps patients - oh, sorry these cells affect the muscles and from low level like me where I had have no pain and my main symptom is rigidity while others have so heart wrenching have extreme pain, with spams that contort them from head to toe. My fellow SPS 'warriors range from me not knowing anything just the basic to those who are very knowledgeable about SPS. I'm here to learn from the other side; the scientific/medical aspect of cells and of the body. In fact our whole being of mind body and spirit. ~ thank you for sharing your knowledge about our inner and outer world ~ 💖
Hi Professor Dave. Love your channel. I need your help on another topic, please.
I love lunar eclipses and I have basketball and a tennisball, so I can make lunar eclipses to scale. (I have them aprox. 7 meters apart)
But I am unable to reproduce Earth's red shadow (obviously, since a basketball don't have a atmosphere with the rayleigh scattering).
I am wondering have you some ideas to how I can reproduce Earth's red shadow. What kind of materials can I use onto the basketball or should I use another spherical object that can cast the red shadow
Hope you reply
Again love your channel
Regards A
This is an incredible long shot but would you ever do a video on moscovium and why it could or couldn’t be used to power space craft.
Would drive the ufo people crazy.
Interesting.
Dave , are you ding any Neuro Science Videos ?
Check my biopsychology playlist.
Sooo, okay, I really liked this video, but where do I find any of the sources of the animations???
Howdy Dave!
nice
Here before 1k views.....👍🏻
Pro Dave ,hi
Hooooow on elliptic earth do you learn so fast? Is it because the more you learn certain stuff, the easier it is to wrap your brain around new concepts?
I actually didn't write these scripts, an immunologist did. But I learn a lot while producing the videos!
Yay
👍
I don't think I'm immune to not watching your videos
Is flatearthers has immune cells too?
Nah they got flatmune cells
what course do we take to be like you 😂😀😎
"Can a non dog come from a dog?"
"Did a dog come from a Protista?"
can u not make one video for full immonology
This will be a playlist of like 40 videos. It's a complex topic.
People who dont understand immunology: Vitamin C will boost your immune system 🤡
Thank you Linus.
Hey bro can you say hi mr hallermann he’s my science teacher and he’s dying of cancer
Just some light music behind your voice would make this feel alot less like a lecture :P
But it is a lecture, essentially.
@@ProfessorDaveExplains Don't get me wrong, I still watched it all the way through ;) Great content mate!
I thought up you were a chemist..... 😂
5 dislikes these are flat earthers
Na aunty nu sonne😂😂
Please translate to arabic
DAiTA :D
I liked your flat earth debunked video. There are Christians unlike myself that don't appreciate science. I tend to be more of a St. Albert the Great kind of guy. Besides it was a Catholic Priest that formulated the Big Bang Theory.
In start of the video Your Head are soo big then your body
