    When you mentioned that Korean has one word 가다 while English has "see" and "watch", I was thinking about the difference. Compare these two:
    1. "I saw the lake."
    2. "I watched the lake."
    The second one has the idea of seeing the lake with the purpose of finding something, maybe something specific or something you don't know of, but it's a more intense focus than just seeing the lake in passing.
    How would you communicate this idea of "watching" something intensely in Korean?

    • @rasthehead
      @rasthehead Рік тому +1

      I assume its the same. To convey "watching" something like the lake for a specific purpose, I think you simply have to change the tone, though I could be wrong.

    I know that this video is from 3 years ago, but I had a question.
    You mentioned that Koreans pronounce 보았었어요 as both 보았었어요 and 봤었어요, but I'm a little confused. Can it be spelled either as 보았었어요 or 보았었어요, or does it always have to be spelled as 보았었어요?
    I hope my question makes sense!
    Thank you so much for your videos! You're such a great teacher and I've really learned a lot, because you are so good at explaining! I'm finding learning Korean quite easy and very fun!! 종만 감사합니다, 선생님! 💙

      Because we cancel it only in past tense because in her past tense video she showed us 3 words 았어요,었어요 and 했어요 and she changed the hada in it and in this video also she showed us three words and it is also related to past tense so it means that the tense which have one of the words starting from 해 that is when only we change the hada hope you understand
