@@RaY_77W I rlly rlly hate the 737. I cannot stress this enough, its ugly and the cockpit is badly designed, but the sound the CFM56s make is amazing. Like music to my ears
It depends on what type of A320, but some of them have the CFM56, which the 737 uses. I think this is a CFM. Unless this is the V2500, which many A320's also use.
I heard it on most flights, actually! :o Right after take off there's a short PTU followed by a "knock" sound. On NEO aircraft the PTU is significantly shorter/softer, I noticed. But you are right, maybe the PTU is needed for gear retraction.
The sound of an A320 family aircraft taxiing is absolute music! Love it!
It really is! I miss hearing it lately!!
Exactly just like the 737! The cfm 56 5 and 7 truly have an amazing sound on Taxi!

0:06 Oh my gosh I love that sound
Yeahh same i love it and 0:48
Man, the sound of the engine sounds so good from that seat! The A320 program chose great sounding engines: CFM and IAE V2500
OMG the engine sounds are amazing!
That hummming!! I thought on IAE's give this humming sound during taxiing!
i like this ptu song so much im the airplane fun
The A320 taxiing sound reminds me of the 737

@@dehavillandcanadatwinotter9621 hey btw is the engine cfm or iae?
@@dehavillandcanadatwinotter9621 it definitely sounds like a cfm to me, ive been on many 737s and this sound ssuper similar
no take off engine sound :-(
Wow, I can't say I've ever heard the PTU after takeoff. They must've needed some extra hydraulic power for either gear retraction or flap retraction.

@@ptuparty I'll bet that is what the knock sound is.
I don't know of an Airbus fight I haven't heard PTU during climb.
Sorry but why was a plane on the terminal roof
What time. I wanna see it😅
Am I tripping or is this EHAM ?
@@CaeArchiveOfficial ooh okay thanks lol
That's the landing gear not put
Ahh the famous A320 taxi whine
737s have it too though. It's actually the signature CFM whine
@@exoticcar5482 in my experience 737s have less of the whine and more of the nice low pitch humming sound while taxiing
@@blur3253 Yes that's my experience. Flew 737-800 NG a month ago.
1:47 on the far left, anyone else notice the MD-80 on the roof?
It's a Fokker 100, they made a panorama terrace out of it www.airportspotting.com/amsterdam-schiphol-panorama-terrace/
Yeah, that's a Fokker. Can see a little difference in the nose, hard to see tho
lol
Pilot must've been drunk.
1:48 did they just use differencial thrust?
Flight control check
Hear none of that in a Boeing
