Pakora Curry پکوڑا کڑھی, a blend of yogurt and besan (gram flour) with besan pakoras, is served with plain white rice. This dish is popular in Pakistan and India.

Thanks for the Recipe. I made some alterations. I used 1 cup besan , 2 cups yogurt, 8 cups of water instead of 4 cups and 2 tomatto. I didn't use hing / asafetida. Used the same process and it turned out delicious.
Im trying this tomorrow.. i have never made pakora curry and im craving for it since so many days as im pregnant... i miss my mom back in pakistan who used to make amazing pakora curry.. now ill give this a try tomorrow.
you Pakistani people also love Kari that is great. we indians from northern part love to eat Kari with rice. one thing I would like to write to you is make Kari of boiled arabi in place of Pakoras. you will definitely love this dish I am 100% sure about this.

I tried this recipe today and it turned out exceptionally good... the only problem i had was that the onions started to release water in the batter resulting in a watery batter... any tips to over come this problem please?

Nice recipe,but is it not alot of chillies and masala, I make with less masale and simpler way by adding masale to yogurt then wen boiled and cooked add pakoras and do the tarka at the end.
