Had my truck since I was 16 and did every single thing in that song with my truck, I am almost 21 now. Yesterday the motor went out and man I already miss my truck. There is just something about trucks that you fall in love with.

That line hit me right in the heart, I worked for nearly 4 years in the Groundskeeping department and at the age of 15 (which I am now) I bought my own truck and paid for everything to get fixed.

I bought a 1989 gmc Sierra last month, I'm 44, that was my first truck ! My memories were endless with bf 33's and if course! FLOWMASTER!!
Got my very first vehicle just a few months after the song was released.
It ain't no truck, it was a beater o' lil hatchback.
Jammed this song (along with the whole album of course) where ever I go. To school, to work, to hang out, Everywhere.
I have to sell it off recently for some reasons. Life changes, we move on accordingly.
For the year I gone through with it, it was the most life-changing and memorable one that I've been through.
Somehow, this came on the stereo while I was parking it this evening. Knowing that it was the last several time that I'll ever got to sit in it, complete this "daily routine" that would never ever be the same forever. I parked it, sat there and just looping this song over and over, cherishing and trying to remember all the moments that this vehicle had been through with me. All the happiness, sadness and the daily-commuting miles. It really hits hard and deep when suddenly came to the realization the bond we have with that vehicle, and the feeling of lost that the bond will forever be broken and never to be restored really hurts. It was so hard to let go, not just the vehicle, but all these memories and moments.
I sure as hell would miss this car for the rest of my live, and will always full-heartly hoping that it's in good hands and taken good care of.
this made me cry just happened to me:( thank you for sharing. last thursday my truck frame took a shit on me i am 21 bought it my self last year was my first truck. tons of sad memories and good in my life currently been depressed lately & that was the only thing that really made me happy jusy added new tires to it too and bull bar. went in to shop to have the cv axle fixed then the frame snapped on the lift. it was rusty but i didnt know i got sold that bad of a lemon. i got a picture of it today on the tow truck on the way to scrap yard.

My truck is so this song. My truck saved my life. She is a 1973 Chevy Cheyenne Camper Special C30 with a 454. I talk to her every day. Good and bad I talk to her about everything. Thank you for making a song about my truck. It also brings back memories of my 01 Dodge Dakota I had in high school. I grew up in her. Got stuck in her. Broke up and fell in love in that truck. Thank you again for this song. Will thank you again when I meet you. Probably cry when I tell you my story on how my 73 saved my life.

Dad purchased my 95 Chevy when I was born, gave it when I was 17. I’m 23 now and she’s still on my driveway. Everything the song said I lived. Eventually got married but it failed and my truck had memories with her, was thinking on selling but this song brought all the good times I lived on that truck.. never let me down unlike her.

This is me with my chevy. It was my dad's and he gave it to me, taught me how to drive in it. I've gotten into crashes, fender benders, things I shouldn't have. I've had the worst times of my life and the best in that car. There's 100s of memories. It's my first car and I love it. Unlike Thomas though I ain't ever getting rid of my chevy
I used to go to the same gym since I was 12, I’m 20 years old now.
I used to go there all the time and I was known as the little kid who talks to everyone.
I literally grew up in that place. I met some great people, acquired a lot of knowledge and learned a lot about myself and who I really am in all these years.
Last month the gym closed down for the last time duo to the pandemic,
Literally every word in this song applies to me and my gym and even though it sounds crazy, I do feel like I lost a loved one.

This song hit so close to home for me for years. I drove a 1999 Mazda pick up truck as hand me down for almost four years, going to school and work. Eventually, it needed expensive repairs and I knew it was time to let it go. It broke my heart as this truck and I had been through so much together and so many memories and emotions were attached to that truck. It got me everywhere I wanted to go and I will forever be grateful for that old truck.
Thomas Rhett you really hit me in the feels with this one. Bavk in high school I had a 92 f150 4x4 extended cab 4x4 4in lift with 35s i loved that truck. It was my baby and as your song says here I learned who I was and it helped me become the man I am today. And I do hope whoever has it today loves that old truck as much as I did and still do. My first pickup was a 1978 Ford F100 Custom. Dad bought it back in 84. I started driving in 2000. Sold her in 2005. Faith had it and I was reunited back with her in 2017. Fixing her up and never letting her get away again. Got 3 pickups in the family. The 78, a old 1953 Chevy pickup. And my new daily driver. A 2015 F150. Love them all!

I kept my first truck my old man bought me from the day he got it for me. 16-30, I’m moving across country to the mountains to start a new life find a wife someday. Think he’d be proud of me keeping it all this time. And think he’d be proud I knew the exact time to let it go too.
Very much hit home for me. My 80 F150 at 16, my 83 F250 at 18, my 69 F250 at 19, both broncos, a 96 Stroke, and now a 03 cummins. So many memories in this song.

My mom bought the truck in my profile picture in 2001.. me and the truck were both 6 years old..I helped her build it.. she passed away 3 years ago and that old truck is all I have left from my mom.. I’ll keep this old girl forever no matter the cost
I always wanted my own garage to rebuild other people old cars and trucks that what makes me happy.
I had my truck since I was 16. 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 single cab long bed. Da** good truck. My wife and I have had so much memories in that truck. We have our first kid on the way. My mom told me “about time you get a new truck don’t you think?” I said “no, my wife and I got too much memories in it.” I have gotten stuck, it broke down and left me stranded once. And I cussed it, was mad at it. I fell in love in it, I drove it to school, I drove it to work, I hauled all my buddies and boats and everything with it, I got it on a 3 inch lift running 32” all terrain tires.
They're what my motive is if you have a frame you could do anything. Bring backs what makes you happy.
Just saw this tonight good concert in Ottawa Canada.
Got a 99 Ford that is my daily driver. Used to belong to my uncle. Rode in it brand new when I was a kid. Leaks oil and coolant now and over 200,000 on it. Just got it out of the shop for a misfire. Driving it home today it still ran smooth. Just can't get rid of it. I need to let it go but...found this song tonight and it says it all
