Insane movie 😭😭 what’s your favourite part of the reaction ?
Definitely the kiss. The way y'all all instantly went on the defensive was hilarious lmao
The Kiss was EPIC
I like the song rewrite the star with Zac efron and zendaya
I loved how you called out one of the daughters who was a tree!!😂😂
Y’all scattering at the kiss scene had me screaming 🤣
them not getting why Anne would be in the circus is so pure of them😂
Being called a freak for being black is INSANE 😭
@@AkinReactsit's crazy think this really happened like, few years ago.
@@AkinReacts it’s absolutely insane and absolutely accurate which makes it even WORSE😭
To be honest I only realised that when Gabriel said it 😅 I thought it was because they are acrobats or something like that.
@@FedericaCorradinosame! Not once did I think it was because they were black when I saw this years ago.
"at least she's still showing respect to him"
- last words before disrespect
47:33
The way these guys ran when girl kissed him on stage...😭😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
When I watched this in theatres, everyone groaned and was like "NO!!!!!"
OMG SAME LMAO I EVEN HEARD A "THIS BITCH-"
The men in my family were so disappointed. “Dude, really? Not cool.”
I’ve never felt so proud of my family. 😂 You men yourselves, are so wholesome. Just loved this reaction 🥹
YESS! lol I remembered hearing someone yell ''If you don't want her give me her then!'' 🤣🤣
Fun fact, the bartender (22:25) is one of the main song producers in this film
That’s actually amazing
And choreographer
The rewind to see zendaya again is CRAZY but also completely understandable bc SAME 🤭
Those who get it get it 🤣
“One is even a tree…yeah yeah that’s what I thought!!😤”
“That’s the daughter bro”
I can’t hahah💀💀😂
😭😭😭
The way I screamed🤣🤣🤣
Akin brothers are 3 loyal men 😂 non-stop boundaries against Jenny Lind from the beginning 🚫
Before they released it they showed the behind the scenes of the songs and with the song from now on Hugh Jackman had been told he couldn't sing cause he had some type of cancer but he sang it and that is forever one of the best songs ever. Plus this is me the lady that sang it during the behind the scene there were so many tears. It's such a great musical the only one I know outside of high-school musical but its so top teir.
We might actually do a reaction to this
definitely check out the recording version of "this is me" too (with Keala)! it made me cry seeing how much passion they put in that song and Hugh reaction to it live was amazing@@AkinReacts
@@AkinReactsplease do
@@AkinReactsplease do!!
@@AkinReacts please do! its absolutely insane and really shows how dedicated Hugh Jackman was to this role
loved the reaction to 'this is me' & the kiss
😌
The reaction after Zendaya said “everyone’s got an act” is so hilarious. And the kiss. Cuz damn same! 😂💯 Love your reaction to this movie!! Literally one of the best reaction videos I’ve ever seen! 💖
This movie made me love musicals again 😭 ❤
I couldn’t find any other “good” musicals
@@DDBaby03 the movie musicals you mean, not musicals in general, right? because I know a lot of good musicals
@@Sarah_R. I couldn’t find any good musicals and the last one I watched was cats, please do give me some recommendations tho 🙏
I was even looking for a theatre musical version of this in London this week but nothing 😔
@@DDBaby03Hairspray!
This is the funniest Greatest Showman reaction ever the commentary was top notch.🤣 🤣
Blue shirt guy was so absorbed in the story! I stumbled across this channel and found all three of y’all absolutely hilarious and enjoyable! 10/10 reaction
Now y’all know Zac can sing high school musical and hairspray lol
47:42 you guys reaction to the kiss just made me laugh so hard.
Needed this replay button🤣🤣
The woman that sang never enough in the movie with lip singing Lauren Conrad is actually the one who sang the vocals for real
Anne isn't a freak because she's black, she's considered a freak because of her role as part of the circus. Her skin color does feed into that of course but it's not the exact reason she would be considered a "freak".
If you notice when Phillip tries to take her to the theater, his father calls her "the help", and later during the circus fight when it catches fire, one of the strangers calls them "spooks" in reference to her brother. Both of those instances are referring to their skin color.
In this time, people would find a reason to look down on them. So if they weren't black, people would look down on them for their class difference (being poor) or for simply being a part of a "circus"/their profession choice.
But because they are black that is why you're seeing comments like "the help" and "spooks". They're dealing with racism. Phillip feels afraid at first to be with her because of this and that's why he lets go of her hand during the performance.
Anyways, they are "normal" so the only reason they're "freaks" is because everyone who is part of the circus is lumped together. I dont know if I really explained that well. They face issues just like everyone in the circus but their problem is more centered in racism rather than being "freakish".
For their part, I’ve always noticed that people outside of the US don’t quite “get” the particular flavor of racism here- especially in a film like this where the setting is the US in the 1800s. So that’s totally understandable.
Exactly!!!
Actually I think this was the 1930's but don't quote me on that lol. @@falsenostalgia-shannon
I think the reason they are considered freaks in the movie is because they are black. The whole point people join the circus is because they are considered freaks by society before hand and Hugh Jackman character goes around recruiting them. It's not hard to imagine that just being black would get you labelled as a 'freak" in the 1880s 😅. Its kinda confusing at first why they are there but it becomes clear after a while
She's a fral because she's black. Let's not put a pretty bow on it
Zendaya's character was considered a "freak" back then because she was mixed race, and that was highly frowned upon. Especailly when Zac Efron's character fell in love with her :) which is why he disowned his parents because he wasn't going to be racist like them.
it will always shock me when people dont think disney child stars can sing. they are trained from a young age to be able to sing and act and sometimes even dance. thats why Zac and Zendaya have such good voices. zac has been in so many musicals...
Not the scream at the kiss. 😂 My favorite thing about how they portrayed Jenny Lind is that she tells you exactly who she is from the start. Girl was out there singing "Never Enough" nightly, and she MEANT it!
I love the Hype during This is Me!! 😂😂😂Best reaction eeever!!!!!! Keep them coming lads😂
That reaction to the kiss was the most hilarious I've seen in ages 🤣🤣🤣
1:52 Didnt know Hugh could sing? Gotta check out Happy Feet he voices Memphis, Flushed Away voices Roddy, the Gaston battle between him and Luke Evans, and youve gotta see Not the Boy Next Door. Hugh’s been known for his singing for some time.
47:43 Best youtube reaction to that kiss!
This is one of my top five favorite musicals. The King and I is one that I highly recommend checking out. Beautiful tale and while I like parts of Anna and the King more, the musical is one of a kind.
I never realized Hugh was Memphis in Happy Feet! He made it such a fun Elvis-y character haha
He did. It wasn't until years later that I learnt he was also Van Helsing though I've watched that movie almost relgiiously. One of the best monster movies imo@@mariakal605
He started in musical theatre before becoming an actor :)
This soundtrack is chiefs kiss. I've watched this movie so many times and each song still gives me goosebumps.
And Zach and Zendaya did both sing for their song together
47:43 i love the reaction here😂
Zendayas character n her brother are different because of the color of their skin
Yeah and that’s still crazy to us
I believe it's partly because of that. It's probably a combination of their skincolour, their outfits and the trapeze (I hope I spelled it right). Plus that they are acting in the circus know.
There's more to it than that lol.
As a dwarf, I too say “what at you looking at Flop-doodle?” 🤣🤣🤣 I say the most randomest things, I’m already getting looks, might as well make it fun
Y’all ain’t know Zach from High School Musical??? Boy got vocals 😂
The *This is Me response was so great to watch. 😆
If y’all enjoyed this, If y’all haven’t seen Hamilton, I’d love to see y’all react to that.
the ginger was not singing it was someone else wa5tch the bts of it the one wearing the beard can actually sing
Hmm very interesting
They should do a reaction to the real singer she got to sing it in Americas Got Talent
You three are so wholesome and sweet!! I look forward to your reactions all the time, and Greatest Showman is one of my fav movies ever! So glad you guys saw it!!
Back in the 1800s, adults were allowed to physically assault children that weren’t theirs if they felt insulted. But of course, it’s illegal nowadays and that’s a blessing in my opinion.
Hugh Jackman was in the Broadway version of Oklahoma which he sang in. Also, Les Miserables if you haven't seen it there is an all star cast and great songs.
ohh btw the house he bought her was the house they ran around in as kids during that song
This movie is amazing, and I also did not know Hugh Jackman could sing but he actually has done Broadway performances also
Yep he's in Les Miserables too :)
you wanted to know why the trapeze act was considered an oddity? You have to remember the time frame this took place in. This is the early 1900s time period. African American entertainers were a rare thing to see and a lot of the country still segregated blacks from whites so it was shocking to see them in such a prominent position.
They don't specify exactly when, but it is set some time in the second half of the 1800s. It technically could have happened when slavery was still legal in parts of the US.
It is impossible to pinpoint the specific time because this film is not trying to be accurate to history at all.
True but we can get pretty close if we look up Barnum. However I do agree that we can't pinpoint the exact year since tha movie doesn't follow the real story.@@ObserverAmanda
This film and the actual history of Barnum should be considered totally separate. This film is almost entirely fictional and the "true" things are still not really accurate on the how, when, and/or even the who. The movie portrays things happening over a few years, but it was more like decades so this makes it hard to determine a specific time.
Yess you've gotta watch the behind the scenes recording!! I cry everytime lol. and it was skin cancer on hugh jackmans nose that he had just gotten surgery on and they warned him he could tear the stitches. He went to the rehearsals with makeup covering over the stitches but at a certain point while he was singing he tore them open lol
Absolutely love your reactions 😂 Another musical I think everyone should see at least once is the Sound of Music. A close second is the Phantom of the Opera.
Epic movies I'd love to see you guys react to:
Speed Racer
Narnia
Hobbit
Omg Narnia yessss!!
Zendaya did most of her own stunts for this movie. Amazing!
this movie saved me at a veryyy low point in my life!! thank you for the reaction video!! i loved it!! ty ty
I always love y’all’s reactions 😂❤ keep it up!
9:36 no, he's not a child he's an adult, he has a condition called dwarfism.
You three were a joy to watch 🤣
even when I was watching the movie myself for the first time I covered my eyes as well when Jenny kissed P.T. it broke my heart 😢
but this was a fun reaction 😁
Y’all are fun. Great reaction!
I saw this about 4x in theaters making all of my family see it after they heard me blast the soundtrack throughout our Christmas vacation. They didn’t regret it.
I saw this movie EIGHTEEN times in the theater and I'd go again right now if it was still playing.
FYI they dubbed Jenny Lind’s voice. Someone else’s voice was actually used there.
I love your reaction! Y'all got so excited and invested. Singing along and jumping off the sofa. Yeah! 🙌 Thanks for sharing!
I loved the enthusiasm that you guys showed
this is the first movie i saw more than once in the theatre.
19:52 " I would slap da shit outta them" lmaoooo
Loved this so much 😍
Yo, man, the caption ain't lyin. This IS the best reaction. lol
Loved this reaction! 🫶🏾
Love this movie, definitely one of my favs. Ya'll are so funny, had to subscribe!
You three should definitely hop on helluva boss funny af adult cartoon the reactions would be priceless 😂
Tightrope, sang by Charity when he leaves is my song 44:05 love it and love singing it
This is definitely my favorite movie reaction of all time. I liked and subscribed.
My favorite movie of all time. Inspiring music and equality for all people regardless of what they look like. I have watched it at least 25 times. I loved your reactions! Great!
It is actually a true story. The cirkus closed Down not so many years ago. The woman singing never enough is Jenny Lind who Hans Christian Anderson was in love with
Actually the Barnum circus recently came back lol :D
@@RedRoseSeptember22 really? Wauw I did not know that 😄
Your reactions to when Jenny kissed P.T on stage was amazing. Cracked me up! 😂👌
Bravo for this movie!
One of my favourites movies ever ❤️
I'd love a reaction video to the recordings they did to get this movie greenlit. They did one each for This is Me and From Now On, not sure if others exist.
Definitely recommend watching Grease it’s another musical one of my favorites!
It's crazy how many black people love this movie (myself included)😂
One of the best films I've ever seen
48:11 JAJAJAJAA THANKS FOR WATCHING 😂
i looveee your react soo much 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just google her😂
Google didn't exist in those days
One of my favourite films. Check out Loren Allred who sang Never Enough on Britains got talent. She is the original voice of it. Her BGT audition is outstanding
Something about the song in this told me you guys need to react to the Wonka trailer coming out December 15 at the theater
Philip’s dad calling her the help is savage 💀
Watching dude in the Jersey losing it is crazy because dude is always so calm
I actually sung this is me and it’s on UA-cam with my group on epilepsy awareness to raise awareness
My favorite reaction from y’all so far! I love this movie. I know you guys are watching The Glory but can I recommend that you guys react to twentyfive twentyone? Its my favorite kdrama to date and I would love to watch it again with y’all :))
the yugioh reference had me done !!!
Let the guy on the left have a chance to speak at the end 😂 guy in middle keeps interrupting which I totally get because you don’t intend to do so and your so caught up in a really great movie. But this is a group reaction and maybe at the end, let each of you one by one tell us how you liked the movie so we can understand you all better and you don’t have to disrupt the three of you😅 all with love! I’ve subscribed long ago and always notice this, just thought I comment on it now
The opera singer Jenny is a tress rebecca ferguson she also plays Elsa in the mission impossible movie rogue nation with Tom cruise
